I'm on vacation this week AND I got several new PS3 games for my birthday, so apparently I'm going to temporarily morph into a teenage boy or something. <_< And happily so, if I might add!

So wait... they are both pregnant? Is that some weird sort of twins or something?

Well, it's his kid too? I don't know. "We're pregnant" seems to be what couple's say anymore, at least here. "We're having a baby" vs "We're pregnant." Not that much difference. So, my brother and his wife are having a baby.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Yah, it did surprisingly poorly, since it actually reviewed relatively well. I think most people felt it was a wait-for-DVD level movie, which is fair enough. That's what I'm doing, anyway.

Actually I told everyone I knew to see it in the theatre. It was a really awesome homage to the original material and one of my faves all summer.

Fright Night in 2D opens here on the 27th. Loki could always come visit just to watch it. :(

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Christmas present for Dad, selected. Cheers for the headsup, Loki!
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.
