Had a surprise pre-birthday supper with my dad last night (the same dad who forgot my birthday two years in a row) and my step mother got me a whole bunch of gift cards...from Chapters, Second Cup, Winners, La Senza, and etc. Seriously, I think I have ten different cards, it's a veritable shopping spree! And I normally loathe getting gift cards but this made me happy.

And also, drunkeness and dancing, looking untold forward to that as well.



Also also, for some reason I'm feeling slightly optimistic today. I've decided to quit my job and move to Oslo, which is the first step on the road to getting my life back together, or started, really. Hopefully. I'll see how it goes. Won't be until January, anyways.

Step 1: Quit job. Move away.

The scary thing is, I'm doing all this on mere whims. I get an idea and then I just dive into it without looking if the water is deep enough, or if there's sharp rocks or moray eels...

So yeah, next week we'll be off for world's biggest bookfair and all our print media (booklet and postcards) are still new and shiny and people have finally shut up and stopped arguing.
Oh, and I got a straight A (well, over here it's 1.0) for an assignment I had only finished halfway AND uni is starting the week after the next. So hapiness all aroung over here.
