Got back my result from audition for the Hallé Choir (everyone got reauditioned due to a new music director taking over). I quote in full as it's so awesome ;)

'This was excellent singing – energised and musical with very good vocal technique. Your diction was excellent in all 3 languages - I detect some BBC Symphony Chorus training in the German!'

Woo-hoo! I officially rock!
It is perfectly monstrous the way people go about nowadays saying things against one, behind one's back, that are absolutely and entirely true.

This should be in the "messed groove" thread. If it was 2 women, you sir will officially have to hand in your man card.

Clarification is required, your mortal soul is in peril! ;)

@Morgy
I agree, it's like the Decline and Fall of the Malazan Empire or something. :D

It was 2 women... and I'll keep my man card, thanks very much - getting the opportunity is more a sign of manliness than seizing it ;) I hadn't (and still haven't) seen the girl she proposed as the third party, but it wasn't looks, lack of confidence in my own abilities or a sudden rush of sexual morals that made me decline, anyway.

Well that's not strictly true.

But you can now say you're officially Class(ical)

Congrats.

Whaddya mean!?! Have you not heard Paul McCartney's Song of Stone? If that isn't classical rock, I'll heat my at!

There is a moral at work here that I believe Tapper ought to be proud of in fact. It is indeed the getting the opportunity that proves a manliness. To know that more than one girl thought enough to want to include him in sexual aerobics with both of them at the same time says something. He doesn't have to do it to be manly and I think NOT doing it is the difference between him being pure James Bond instead of skeevy Matt Dillon in Wild Things.

I too would likely turn down a threesome (two girls or otherwise) simply cause it's not me...as Jerry Seinfeld said..."I'm not an orgy guy! I'd have to get all kinds of lotions and robes!"

I'm just chillin' with Defiance whilst reading Cussler, drinking artic fire and waiting for my slow cooked moroccan lamb to be ready to eat. After which I plan on watching a little NextGen and the Breakfast Club.

I may be home alone but at least I'm doing it in style!

I'm rather slap-happy because I spent the whole day with above person ;) And it was sweet!

I LOVE Jameson. Went to the distillery in Dublin, Ireland and bought a nice 12 year as well....it is...for lack of a better word...luscious!

Second only to my fave scotch, Macallan 10 year.

Well stress over!! Interview went well!! In fact it went really well.
Seemed to be a formality to make sure I wasn't sporting any toblakai-esq face tattoos or a lime green Mohawk.
Providing I pass the relevant security and medical checks (standard practice for companies with government contracts) then I think I should be ok.
Best of all they weren't too fussed when I told them I couldn't start until late October. Woot!!!
A massive weight off my mind.
Let's see if I can enjoy life again.........
