My lightning fast ninja reactions seems to have saved my Laptop from the disastrous Irn-Bru event of a few days ago. No harm done.

The time has almost arrived where I can end my exile out in the backwoods and return to the big city

The big city....where actual people live. Instead of cows and inbred hicks with pitchforks and torches.

I'm happy right now because it's sunny and warm out and my VIP ticket for the upcoming U2 concert shipped today, so my paranoia about not getting it in time for the show next week was groundless (as my paranoia usually is, to be honest.)

Just got back from the dentist and he fixed my tooth - it was a minor (albeit veeeery painful) problem, so no drilling or cutting or pulling was necessary. Yaaaay!

The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues.

Finished the next part of that HoC summary. I had a lot of trouble getting it down, rewrote a couple of sections to make it more funny, rewrote them again to actually make them funny this time, gave up and kept writing anyway, and finally got down most of what I wanted to do. Only two more parts left to go...

sent out my student loan documents for the upcoming year. get to check off another item on the summer's "to do" list.

also, picked up another shift to work for next week. take that, Management-who-didn't-give-me-a-shift-on-Saturday-even-though-I've-booked-it-as-available-and-you-know-people-will-want-it-off.

oh, and getting a haircut next week.

and it's proper summer weather here.

and i'm slowly forcing myself to get back in shape, slowly but surely.
