Gun rights making a comeback...after a assualt of 70 years against my rights...A State is finally acting in everyone's best interest:

WooT! Now pass so we can move on to the next gun resolution. I do see alot of fearmongering from the left on this one though...oh well it will pass!

Not sure why you would need a gun to protect yourself in a library, court or city council chamber, but anyway.

Finished "The Crippled God" and it didn't suck. Yeah!

Blurb worthy that is.

I was shocked. I hated "Dust of Dreams" but "Crippled God" pleasantly surprised me.

10-to-1 some of the parts in DoD don't nearly annoy you as much on a reread.

And also that some annoy you even more.

And that some your opinion is unchanged on.

Yes, I like covering all my bases.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

It's encouraging. I slogged through DoD as well, just so unrelentingly dreadful. If Crippled God is good, then I'm looking forward to buying it.

Think outside of the box, MTS! A hand gun's an awesome paperweight!

On second thought, thank God that this bill has been introduced. Now law-abiding citizens will be able to protect themselves and their families where they are most vulnerable - from papercuts in the library. Those elitist books and their reign of terror will soon end!

One good reason to be packing heat is to protect yourself from raving Twitards and Terry fans at the library.
Conversely what either of those kinds of people would be doing at a library is beyond me.

Last day of my first master's program course, damn that went quick. There will be no rest for the wicked as the next course starts in a week.
Monsignor:...Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men.

Canada's Conservative government has fallen and there will be an election! The icing on the cake is that this occurred due to a motion finding Harper's government to be in contempt of parliament (a historic first). While another election will be costly (the 4th in 7 years I believe?) the thought of keeping Stephen Harper in office is much worse. The man has proven his willingness to snub democracy when it suits him and his recent comments comparing an imminent election with the disaster in Japan are just terrible. I only hope more Canadians go to the polls this time or we could be stuck with this man in power again.
And so the First denied their Mother,
in their fury, and so were cast out,
doomed children of Mother Dark.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Would this be an appropriate time to play the game where you end every sentence with " ... IN MY PANTS"? :)

Oh, and on the Arizona new gun law fucktardery - just have a small stand selling a ghastly low alcohol beer that nobody would ever drink (something even worse than most Yank beers, which I admit would be difficult to find) in a remote corner. That should hopefully be enough to stop the retards being allowed to bring their weapons into a public event.

Just finished the last exam in a horticulture program I've been taking. 360 hours of courses and I'm done. Nice feeling.

Now to get a big boy job with that....
