Today is my 4th wedding anniversary. To celebrate Dr. Luxury Wife and I went to a fancy French restaurant and had a seven course meal. It was amazing. I'll go out on a limb and let you guys in on a little secret I've discovered, those frenchies know a thing or two about food.

Holy shit it was expensive though.

just found a ace makita combi kit, which, provided I can sell my old (but still quite new and in top nick) cordless for the £250 mark will mean Im getting the same cordless, along with an impact driver, cordless grinder, ripsaw, torch and 3 li batteries for £500. That would be tits.
anyone want an 18v makita?

Just to fill out that last one, I was taking some food round for a friend who is so busy right now with a super intense course and revision etc who hasn't been eating. The rather pretty housemate answered the door, and told me that this person wasn't there, so we walked to the house where they were.

Once we had dropped the food off we walked back (they live just round the corner from me) and we were chatting away merrily and getting on very well. At her door she invited me in. We ended up having dinner and swapping numbers. Shall see where it leads.

As for today, am meeting some friends on top of Caerphilly Mountain for breakfast at a kiosk place they have there, and am off to a beautiful forest drive in the lovely sunshine later. Good times!
