My boss gave me a huge, last-minute assignment as he walked out the door for a week-long vacation. But, rolling a 1 against my Awesomeness score, I finished it ahead of schedule!

:bs:
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Thank you BBC iplayer.

I work remotely using a connection to my London office's network. This afternoon however (just as Cameron was giving his speech) I was abruptly cut off from my remote desktop session because so many people were watching iplayer at the same time, it broke the internet. They still haven't fixed it enough for me to connect so I got the remainder of the afternoon off. Well done my London colleagues! Keep up the good work!

The only downside to all of this is that my connection to the network is what fools the BBC and channel 4 websites into thinking I'm in the UK so now I can't watch them either :bs:

Cameron's speech...does that mean the Tories are in? *only knows about hung parliament*

No no, Brown made a speech and then there was some studio stuff and then Cameron made a speech. Think it was mostly sucking up to the LibDems but to be honest I got cut off quite early so I didn't hear most of it.

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I FOUND THE GREATEST APARTMENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD, AND I'M GOING TO BE SAVING ALMOST $150 A MONTH OVER MY CURRENT DUMP OF A PLACE.

Seriously, this place is like the fucking Taj Mahal of Berkeley apartments. And I'm going to be living there with 3 of my best friends. And I can fit my gigantic television in there! I am so goddamned happy.

I had a brilliant start of the day. Got up at seven and then spent about an hour eating a very non-descript bowl of müsli with grapes and a banana on the side, before spending one and a half hour at the gym. I've tried working out in the morning without much luck. I always stress about, trying to get done with the work out as soon as possible while thinking about all the other stuff I want to do later that day. And it always ends up with me chugging down the breakfast, before going straight into a sprint down the hill to the gym. I end up being exhausted half an hour into the workout, with no spare energy to tap into. This time I was concious about actually spending some time waking up, both mentally and physically. Also, there are very few ways better to start off a day than to watch beautiful, fit women running on the tread mill in front of you. Could have done without the obnoxiously fat one, but to be honest, that was more fascinating than anything else.

Got a text from a lass I know here in Cardiff saying "Are you home for dinner?" I didn't know what she meant, and when asked, she told me that she was coming over mine to cook some kind of bacon dish and did I want dinner cooking for me?

I'm thinking of asking her to marry me...
