Attended a cool cooking demonstration class tonight - the food was AWESOME and got good hints and tips and recipes :) My friend will be experimented on with new methods and recipes :p

People acknowledge Australia Day overseas? Cool. :) I do know Hamish and Andy had a special Oz-Day show on BBC6, but that's about it.

Shut. My rage is oh so jealous. Karnivool, Mastodon, the Freaking Mars Volta? I hate you with a passion/want to be you! And most people don't acknowledge Aussie day, but I have a good friend who lives here but is a Dinkum. She put on a BBQ plus an Australia day quiz to see how much we know about it. I failed miserably. But shes hot and I had an awesome epic steak so it was a great evening. :)

Well I learnt that Drongo means idiot, and there was a bunch of questions about different aspects of Australian culture/sport/history etc. Beforehand I even learnt that Kevin Rudd was the prime minister, and it didn't even come up... :) :p TBH I can't remember most of it as I was very busy drinking an absolutely marvellous Australian Shiraz of some description...
