I spent the morning on the phone with the Sirius radio people getting my account in order. My old radio got stolen and I needed to get the service on that radio stopped. End of story they gave me a free 120$ radio to keep me on board. Sweet.

I have confirmed that my slow-cooker does not set off my smoke detector over a four hour period.
