Took our lady for her late night walk. Told her it's almost weekend. One more day.

A 5 day weekend, gotta love them. I for sure need it.

Anniversary lunch on Wednesday and enough time to finish installing the new kitchen cabinets and countertop so that I can put in the induction cooker and the oven. When that's finished our desks can be put in the new study downstairs so that the guestroom\study upstairs just becomes the guestroom where the desks will be replaced with some storage cabinets.

In other news I had one of those terrible grown-up moments, where I'm not sure if I should be happy or mad.

First week back from a two week vacation. A mountain of mails and assignments to go through, four days later with about 12 hours of overtime, just done with an 11 hour work day, the Inbox is cleared and every work sheet is balanced or waiting for feedback. I found myself biking home and feeling happy because I know I've done a good job.
