Post movie happy. Still got rest of the the day with the kids on the first day of their holidays, so we're getting food now.
Will continue to avoid all reviews and comments to keep my good mood!
Was a nice change to see a movie with little idea of how any of it would play out, a bit like it used to be.

Driving into work this morning, I dropped by one of those hipster, artisan donut shops that have been the rage across the country for a few years now. Thanks for creating the template Voodoo Donuts in Portland, Ore, stay weird!
Anyway, I got one raspberry filled jelly donut that was bigger than should be legal and whooboy they make sure the donut is bursting with the raspberry jelly! And I got the maple bacon donut. You read that right - maple icing and legit, skillet fried, thick cut bacon crumbled on top of a round, donut like transport mechanism. Holy shit, my brain exploded with the delight that my mouth was sending it.
One drawback and maybe I should put this in 'messing with my groove' thread - I now have a sugar high that will have me buzzing and bouncing off my cubicle walls until mid afternoon. But whooboy, that was an experience of mouthgasms! Can't be doing that very often though. Making a mental note to myself to maybe give them a visit every couple of months.

Started a new D&D campaign and somehow managed to play from 7pm to 4am. I guess that can be called a good session!
In general, I feel like our sessions have improved greatly since two people left the group and one person joined who vibes a lot better with the core group. Her humour fits right in. As much as I'm averse to being glad people leave the group as I'm all for everyone enjoying themselves, our humour and playing styles simple did not vibe well and since they left, the sessions have become wild in the best way.

I chuckled a little bit when I remembered that in-company holiday e-mail for Hannukah and Kwanzaa was holiday-specific and explicit, but for Christmas it was just 'happy holidays'...
