Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Not convinced by the first one, were they?
But joking aside, great stuff. Congrats. I hope it works out for you!

I'll tell you a fun story. I think it started in the Grimdark fantasy group when I was a part of that (I'm not now, but can provide insight as to why if anyone cares) - someone posted "idea: fantasy characters with day jobs anthology".
I, being drunk at the time, jumped on this and hyperactively started throwing an idea around about an orc doing injury litigation. I was all over that thread.
And then Stefan set up a group for it and said "OK so are we doing this or what". Madness. One drunken thing leading to another, quite literally.

My sister is at the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) and is waiting to be called, and the screen that indicates who's up next keeps flashing this message that says "Man Wears 260 shirts" that disappears after a few seconds. It doesn't show a pic of the guy, it doesn't transition into new messages, it doesn't do anything to follow up, and it's crackin me up.
Here's a gif I made of her video:

That's funny. My own manifesto is of similar length.

Had my first day at my new job at Friday. Looking good. Colleagues are really nice, I'm getting my own working desk soon and I haven't been crushed by the paper work until now
Next week I get an introduction in the study standarts and storage and afterwards I'm maybe starting with field work

Got a haircut. Head feels a lot lighter, even though people are commenting the amount of visible grey hair's increasing.
Also, went for a swim for the first time in almost a month yesterday, and feeling infinitely better about myself.

Got to use my bow (Mongolian recurve) for the first time yesterday.
Went to an archery club and practised a bit with a stock bow first, then went on to mine. Man the difference was phenomenal. The stock bows are like a 20lb draw, mine is 50. The added power definitely made for more accurate shooting. And much faster, you can't stand and hold a shot for 20 seconds as easily. Which is better, the extra time does not make you aim better
