I didn't have to work today.
Aaaaand I bought 2 new coats and 2 new winter jackets and new shoes... Life is good.

The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues.

Ball State won a game! Wooooooooooohooooooooo! No winless season this year!
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Drank vodka, thereby fulfilling expectations, and being predictable makes me happy.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

In an effort to break the monotony of the upcoming chemistry class tomorrow at 9 am, someone thought up a marvelous plan - gettin high before the said class. Within minutes, we pooled the cash ans someone set out to get some weed. We'll most likely crash somewhere close by rather than drag ourselves all the way to the classroom, but what the hell. It should be fun.
Kif: Sir, remember your course correction?
Captain Zapp: No.
Kif: Well, it's proving somewhat more suicidal than we'd initially hoped.

It's Gardens of the Moon, subteranean press edition that Broody paid about £100 for and has been waiting for since Gothos (the character not the grumpy Pole) was a lad.
Also Mezla, I know you are like, the worst Malazan fan ever , but look what the picture is of FFS, it's clearly from GotM

NNNNNNNNNEEEEER- oh, damn it.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Not much... we predictably skipped chemistry and went to a bar instead.
Then a fantastic lunch.
Then an afternoon nap from which I just woke up.
All I have left to do today is go to a relaxing zoology class and then a sleepover at the girlfriends place.
Life is good.

I am happy because U2 finally (finalllllly!) announced a concert date for here in Montreal. At last, I get to use my pre-sale code to buy my tickets, muahahahaha. Now if only they would announce when the pre-sale begins...

Fuck.
I started reading this post and thought that it was going to be good news about U2, like Bono getting ripped apart by a pack of wild dogs or the Edge finally giving up guitar.
Damn.
