Awesome name QT. And congrats. You are in for a ride. One of the best things in your life.
Completely glowing after a second date. I think my clever girl and I are in sync. This is going to be good.

Back from the hospital finally with our little one. She was born at 7:07PM on Sunday night after a lengthy labour (mom is doing fine now though, and Epidural was her favourite word)!
We named her Quinn. And she's just about the cutest little thing you've ever seen. But then I may be biased. Or she already has me wrapped around her little finger.
Huzzah!
Thanks all for the well wishes!

Congratulations. I've said it before, you have no idea how much you're going to love that little shit.
Hope you didn't enjoy sleeping!

Congrats QT! I'm happy everyone came through alright.
Also, the sleep thing might not be as bad as everyone suggests. My wife and I have been managing at least 6 hours a night ever since Baby Katie hit two weeks. So yeah, don't lose hope.

You should do a weekly science roundup of bug bites on the penis. Next week stick your dork in a beehive.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I used to love that segment so much.
But my 2 faves would be the Tommy Gemmell one (purely for his reaction to being kicked),
and the Ray Houghton one. The Houghton one caused a bit of a fuss in Ireland, but I thought it was really funny. Unfortunately, it would appear Uefa did a copyright claim on the youtube clip so i can't link to it.

It was a great show wan it?
WMMHRN: Had some promising news today about a job with the Renault Team in UK. Based in Oxfordshire.
Waiting on a Skype/Phone interview next week, and it seems like I have a pretty good chance.
It means I'll be home a lot more, and I won't have to compromise on my career choice.
Which I was about 3 weeks away from doing!!
😬
So yeah, I'm pretty chuffed.
Fingers crossed.

Saw my therapist. As I suspected, it's a bad muscle spasm. Since he didn't want me taking muscle relaxants (I don't want to take them either- I'm too young for that junk), gotta wear K-tape for 2 days and use heat before bedtime. No electrical physio this time, either,
I'm quite happy with this outcome, means basically just need to give it a good rest so it'll un-clench slowly. Sun is my last season game for outdoor. Got another one next week but it's for a team I've basically quit by now, so i'll see how I'm feeling before deciding on that game. And then I'm off anyways, b/c long weekend and a week later my 2 week vacation, so should be fresh and good to go for the autumn season when I get back.

Last night I got to attend the Red Carpet premiere of a film I crewed on last summer. Since Cork is quite a small city, it wasn't the biggest or glitziest affair, but the local press and radio were there, and it is quite surreal to see the faces of people you knew and worked with, plastered across huge billboards and posters around the cinema. Also to see the film projected on the biggest (Maxx) screen was an awesome sight.
Unfortunately I showed my rookie status at these kind of things, and was too slow to take a picture of my name coming up on the opening credits (and missed the closing credits too cos i had powered down my phone during the screening, Doh!). Quite a buzz to see your own name come up though. Since it was such a tiny film, we were all doing multiple roles, and so it became a bit of a joke as to what i should be down in the credits as. Because i was driving everywhere getting actors, props, catering, whatever else needed fetching, I'm now down as the Transport Captain. Tried to get them to put me down as The Transporter, but one of the higher ups nixed that idea
Still, it's been a fantastic experience seeing the stuff build up in the papers, and now having friends rave about it after seeing it. Hopefully it won't be the last feature I get to work on, but if it is, then it's already been quite a ride.

I AM treating it. And it's NOT like this needs surgery (The RL equivalent of High Denul). your analogy is inapt.

Actually, I think more of Doctor Who, but to each their own. I think she looked briefly at the site and decided it was too much trouble to stalk me on here.
Another wonderful evening with her. This time she went home at a decent hour so she can get some sleep, and I will see her again Sunday. Living in a dream.
