Yesterday was a beer festival. Today it'll be a music festival. I love Oslo in summer

About to hike out to a lakeside campsite to get ready to watch some meteors, if there are any left. Gonna be interesting packing it in, in addition to needing to frequently carry the 3 year old. Gonna come out rippling muscle.

Having a catch up after a week on a greek island with a wifi connection that for some reason wouldn't let me access the forum.
Just found my copy of No Mans Sky on the doormat so it's installing while we unpack - also I need to see Rogue One trailer on a suitably big screen..

So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Kamasi Washington was awesome. Anderson Paak was surprisingly great, though it's not my genre typically. Kvelertak was amazing. Some guy basically started crow surfing during the first song and never came down. People gave him beer now and then while he swam about.

In Vegas for a holiday. Weather is ridiculously hot, but at least it's a dry heat (40c with about 14% humidity - my mouth dried out while on a roller coaster ffs, great way to sell more water at the shop lol).

It's more "made me laugh" than happy but it fits better in here than in Groove.

No you can't, and you should probably get out more, poor soul

If you don't come back with some sort of sordid anecdotes involving showgirls and/or porn stars/strippers, I shall be most disappoint. If necessary, lie.
@TRBB
Kind of understandable, you do have a nice voice and accent. But then again so does Illy. I'm not gay, but that dude's voice is like auditory velvet.

Just got back from a backpacking trip with a guy I work with and my boys. It was 2.7 miles up hill to alpine lakes and I am sooooooooo sore. Fortunately the little one (3 years) manned up and walked 4 of those miles (3 of them uphill) saving me from having to carry him the whole way, which would have been disastrous given the weight I was carrying (didn't have a backpacking tent, just 40 LBS thing that didn't fit in the backpack and had to be carried separately....). My boys are awesome.

My outdoor team won today! ANd I only had to play for a total of maybe 5 min at ends of half, subbing in for an injured player. Didn't make my own injury worse, which is a plus.
Then went to our captain's place for a pool party + BBQ, so a day well-spent.
Indoor playoffs tomorrow. Not sure how i'll cope. Hopefully we have enough bodies so I'll only have to fill in for really tired players once the score's firmly in our favour.

easy playoffs win for the co-ed indoor team tonight. Plenty of subs, so once again I only had to play symbolically, subbing in for a few min.
Tomorrow is a day off soccer, need to hit the pool big time. Wed is the men's league playoff game and it won't be this easy.
It does feel like the stupid muscle is starting to ease off. It doesn't feel as contracted whe i'm just sitting/lying there as it did before.

I've found magnesium/calcium tablets have been having a good effect after exercise for muscle tension. Which is good, because I'd rather not use the calmative/relaxant codeine etc tablets (Dolased - a generic of Mersyndol) more than once or (max) twice a week. That shit is addictive.

Haha, lucky! Just watching the floods down your way on the news. Meanwhile, the hills to my West are on fire. You'd think there would be a way to fix both these problems at once, aye?
