Spent the afternoon doing open-TV surgery, and saved myself a couple hundred dollars for a new one, or 100+ for a service visit.

I'M AWESOME.

Siblings all went on holiday this week, i didn't go but i got drunken phone calls at 2 in the morn every night to tell me how loved i am... Which is weird considering they've never said that before. Weird but nice lol

Also new job today, should be fun.

My best friend and I are planning to cook a nice dinner for my b-day in a few weeks: boeuf bourguignon, side salad with tarte tatin for dessert. Mmmmm. I've never tried to cook either the beef or the tart so this should be interesting! Thank god she's an awesome cook. Posted Image

My computer works again! After pulling it open, taking the DVD drive out, and putting a new one in that they nicely sent me free of charge, I was actually able to play Empire Total War.

I'm... not very good... :D I got too used to utterly pwnzing on Rome...

I had my first win as Spain. Now I can win with any of the Catholic countries but I'm having a nightmare in the Arab world. If I can survive the Mongols, the frickin Timerinds do for me. Have fun and enjoy the lost hours!

I've watched this trailer 10 times in the last 24 hours. It's amazing.

It's the Halo ODST live action trailer.

There are few weekends more welcome than the first full weekend of football. High school Friday night, college Saturday, and Sunday NFL. :D
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I'm playing as Britain. No-one really likes us guys. Also, the Indian people I wanted to team up with have become my enemies so I'm fighting a war on three continents. :D

My copy of DoD finally arrived from the Book Depository. I have to admit that, although it took them 3 days to ship it instead of the expected 1-2, it arrived quickly. So my weekend is now occupied! Posted Image

Finally got rid of a pimple in my outer ear, one of the most annoying places to get one.
But it's gone now.

I just found a site where they make Star Wars vehicles and characters out of language, "ASCII" or something like that. But, it's Star Wars!
