From the groove theread:
Be careful that it isn't a Rotator Cuff injury - those get nasty. I'd advise rest for a few days, if it doesn't hurt, train light for a week, and then see how you go from there.
Don't want to alarm you but I damaged my shoulder over ten years ago - and it hasn't been right since. Also hurts only when it is in certain positions. If it persists, get it checked out before it gets chronic.

I had a similar issue with my TFL...which now acts up ALL the time, and only working it out with exercises designed to work it out will help. It's irritating.
2 days later, the pain/discomfort migrated from the front/top part of the shoulder to the back/just above the shoulderblade/neck junction
which is a familiar spot for regular soreness I get occasionally when over-worked. And with the weekend coming up, plenty of opportunity to get extra sleep and make it relax away.

Pulled smth in my right shoulder last night. Figured I'd do some diamond pushups before heading off for a swim, but didn't stretch first. Doesn't seem to be anything really bad- only getting the pain when it's in certain positions, and not when it's at rest or when i'm typing (thankfully). I was able to swim just fine with it. Mostly i'm just annoyed at myself for such an amateur mistake (not stretching)

Talking out loud to yourself about what you're going to do to that plate of bacon...is not really something I'd brag about.

I have an assignment due tomorrow that I finished yesterday.
Jesus this feels weird.
(I finished it yesterday because I intended to write something twice the size today that is also due tomorrow, except it not )

The death report of a man in 14th century London:
I immediately thought of BK.
for some reason
Quote
The jurors say on oath that when on the preceding Tuesday, about midnight the said John Toly rose naked from his bed and stood at a window of the solar 30 ft. high to relievehimself towards the High Street, he accidentally fell headlong to the pavement crushing his neck and other members, and thereupon died about cock-crow. Being asked who discovered him, the jurors say Robert le “Wayllhsman.” Thecorpse viewed, &c. Precept to attach the said Robert and four nearest neighbours
I immediately thought of BK.

Took my bike out from under all the crap in our backyard. Oiled it up, took it for a spin. Also, my dad helped me give it a tune-up, so it's now stuck in second gear instead of 3rd for additional training (it's a 12-year old bicycle, so I'm not complaining)
Despite the cold, enjoyed it.
Got a weekend to chill, and then 3 weeks of routine work (and one of them short b/c long weekend!) before I'm hit with another bitch-hard week

BK the more I think about it the more I feel like you should live in the UK. It's never that hot and when it is, it isn't humid like Louisiana is. Also the bug situation is much more favourable!
