Woot 3 nights straight in the 30's! I saw some amazing meteors the last 2 nights from the Quantirid storm. These were so slow moving so they actually lasted a few seconds and streaked the whole sky compared to fast Persids and Gemind storms.

These posts always make me hate you a little bit. For 2 reasons:
1. You are capable of staying up late enough to see these things.
2. The sky above you is routinely clear enough to see these things.

Every year with the geminids and persiods I think I'll try to stay up but then check the weather forecast and realise it's just not worth it.

Since I wasn't exercising after work since starting the new job (it's tiring, but awesome!) I've started getting up earlier and doing it in a morning. Feeling really good Posted Image

You know it's been a long week, when you're in bed before 9 and excited about all the sleep you're gonna get.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Finished the openhanded part of my Wing Chun system today.
Capped off the last section of dummy form in class with 3 really senior students. A really good lesson. Just what I needed after the holidays.
I finished my 3rd form just before Xmas so I've got some knives and pole to learn now.
Fun times.

Just found out the open buy order on Royal Dutch Shell triggered. Thank you OPEC for keeping the taps open. And thank you to all my fellow Americans who are buying <20mpg vehicles in droves.

Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes. It's the only time each year those precious, overpaid, pompous, self-righteous wankers get told something they don't like hearing. Should happen on the other 364/5 as well.

Aww I'm outside looking at Sirius and Jupiter dressed in shorts, socks, a tee shirt with a flannel long sleeve and a snow boarding jacket from Kentucky in 37F with snot pooring out my nose. Awesome. I should snap a pic of myself.

I never know what to make of posts like this. Me, in those conditions would be sneezing enough to bring Sirius crashing down on my head....

Why shorts....? Are the Jurassic insects hibernating?

Are they coming to Manchester? Cos I'm not the biggest fan but I've not been to a gig in ages (mainly cos I got no-one to go with and I can't be bothered on my own any more...) and I'd be well up for a Manc Malaz Metal Meet. :(

Got asked to help shoot a music video in a few weeks time (for a local band's first single). Looks like it could be an enjoyable shoot, and I might actually get a few pennies for doing it as well. If it turns out well, I'll post a link. I should really listen to the song now, but I'm afraid to in case it's rubbish :(
