Personal Pics Error message when attempting to upload

Ahoyhoy. Ive just been trying to upload a personal pic, and i keep being told theres an error and to contact an admin. Aint to do with the size, Ive tried resizing the image three times now.

Yeah ive had this same problem, when i first tried it was size issues so i resized it and now it just says error contact an admin.

Also Hetan, I think they are talking about the personal photo option in the User CP. Not about posting pics in thread. I just figured this out because I tried to do it, just now and recieved the same error message. If you knew this, sorry, and if this wasn't what they were talking about, again sorry.

I know that is a common ailment.. luckily i put a photo up in the photo thread ready for just such an eventuality

I actually found this problem back when I was setting everything up. And I have no idea why it happens.
Sounds like a database error and I don't know how to fix anything way back there.

I've just tried uploading a profile pic, and get the same error. Think I know what might be causing it, give me a sec.

Okay I've fixed the problem. You should be able to upload a picture in your profile now.

No prob

The folder where the pics are uploaded did not have the correct permissions. I've posted a more detailed explaination and what to do in the Moderator's forum, in case we have similar problems elsewhere on the forum in regards to uploading of a file.
