Information on Barghast, from Barghast's last 20 posts.

He wanted to lynch Tennes, but noone backed him up, so he said he would like to Lynch Mockra or Omtose, with Mockra being a priority over Omtose. That is it. He made no shots at anyone else, didn't reveal any family thing, nothing. That tells me that Barghast found Korv's leader. Korv is now defending Mockra, and has apparently claimed that someone attempted to Vig him last night. Korvalain also enjoys saying 'if you don't agree with me, you must be the FM or the Don of another team' over and over again, in his attempt to kill Barghast.

So the question becomes, Is Mockra Korv's don, or is he now misdirecting onto mockra because he realized that we can get caught in a giant WIFOM mess regarding which is the don and who Korv is symping.

Let me take a page from Korv's book, and say that if you don't vote for Korv based on this evidence (which I actually presented), then either Tennes, Mockra, Omtose, or Korv must be your don.

I think mockra. But would be happy to switch. We still need 5 votes for mockra, but I doubt we could raise all the votes in time for Korvalain. We have about 3/4 hours or so. Im going in about 30mins-half an hour btw.

You have yet to post any reason why we should kill the thing in the bushes none of us can make out, when we are on an elephant hunting safari. Your entire case is 'we should kill this guy... I have my reasons but I cannot share them.'

Perhaps its because we can only kill one elephant a day, and therefore want to make sure we make the most of it.

I collect the posts where people call me "stupid" or that I "fail", I usually send them to the spoiler board for after-game hilarity.

Anyways, time is ticking down, and we need to do something.

My preferences for today : Barghast, Ruse, D'riss, Tellan. (and please don't get defense-y, I'm not calling you scum)


But I would switch for Mockra if needed.

Egh, Korvalain is really pissing me off right now. Only two reasons I'm not switching. One, I'm not sure we'll get a lynch. Two, he seems to be linked to one or two people, which points to him not being FM. What do people think of him being corleone?

Well, why do you vote Mockra? Did he vote for your don or expressed strong desire to do so? Did you investigate him in another team?

Anything else, and you're making a "mistake", in my opinion. You might get lucky, the same way that if you play football without really caring which goal you should aim for you might score from time to time, but it is still a mistake.

I voted for him because I think he is the largest threat to me winning I can see, and I stated my reasons for this earlier.

I think there is a large chance of him being FM/Triad, and therefore the largest threat to me winning.

Well, out of curiosity (honestly, no sarcasm), what other reasons would you have in mind.

He was under-the-radar, ok, maybe he's your poisoner/healer/vig and he's afraid to get himself in the spotlight.

What were your actual reasons, if you don't mind repeating them? The thread is getting big, and you posted a lot.

but Korvalain's not explainin himself at all!! ive just finished work and read thru everything i missed out on, and Korvalain just constantly ignores the offer or plea to explain his reasons wilst simultaneously throwing around silly accusations that boil down to; if we dont understand his choices, we're blatently the FM or Triad or some other chump

He was: Symping you. It came up that he may be fake symping, to seem part of a small, and therefore unthreatening group, as you appeared corleone. Seeing as you've said you'd be happy to go for him, a fake symp now seems more likely.

I have said throughout that I think the greatest threat is FM/Triad. Therefore I want to find them.
He wasn't posting much(drawing lowest at time of vote), and had also tossed on a quick vote(iirc). He had posted very little content, which is something I think that is suspicious, because it makes people forget you, avoids confrontations, and is generally good for slipping in unnotied. I think that is my best chance of figuring out who the FM/Triad are.

Now, i'll admit there's a chance he's my poisoner/healer/vig, but thats a risk with everyone, because you cant know 100% who's on your team and who isnt(unless you're a finder). However, with his corleone-ish behaviour I reckon he's either corleone, or FM/Triad. Of course, I could be wrong, but that was why I voted him. His defence didn't really convince me of much either.

Edit: If it turns out I am wrong about Mockra, i'll obviously have a much closer look at the barghast thing, because a lot of why I suspect him came from you.

Ok as I see it we need to either vote of Korv or Mockra.

Korv refuses to let people know what the post was that supposedly gave away Barghast. I haven't been able to find it and from what I read neither has anybody else. This seems to be either the play of a FM/Triad who failed to get a recruit/investigation, or is trying to defend Mockra. Right now I think that Korvalain is reeking of desperation. A FM/Triad would not be that desperate, which leads me to believe that he is trying to defend Mockra. Now either Mockra is his Don or Mockra is the Triad and recruited Korvalain last night.

Although I will happily switch it over to Korvalain if his lynch is there.

You honestly don't have anyone who attacked or voted for your don as a better target? Well then, I feel for your team in a way.

Like I said before, your case about him being FM/Triad applies to many players, for example Liosan, Hood's Path, Thryllan, even Serc, and Serc was nothing of that.

However, I also agree that he might be Corleone. I'll do a re-read to see if I can be more sure than that, though, but yes, I would switch if needed

Yes. I know. And, I would be a lot less worried if all the low posters were dead.
I may or may not have a person who attacked me don. However, if I start targetting them, and someone comes along and realizes im basically just defending someone, it gives my don away, so im very cautious of doing things like that.

I dont think I would. If we hit a triad(heres to hoping ) then I think its entirely possible thats the triad gone. After all, 6 grunts, 5 if telas told the truth at night 1. Thats not a great chance. Its quite a weak case. Although added to all the other stuff on you...
Anyway, we'll see what happens. If we even get a lynch...
