Not my pets, just a couple of feral kitties I have fed since they were little. They still won't stand still for pictures. (click for better resolution)

Just got a cat. I'm a dog guy, I've got two right now but my wife and two girls have been hounding me for the past year. Named her Chiku after the main character(s) On the Steel Breeze which I love. So far, she's a maniac. I'd forgot how playful and pouncy kittens are.

This is my fat cat lying next to me right now. Her name is Silke (Silk).

I inherited her after my parents moved to an apartment that doesn't allow pets.

Matador is slow-cooking a roast. I think the aroma may have sent Kalam a little food-crazy. -_-

It's a distraction. He'll make a play for the roast while you're cleaning up the bread.
You can tell from how he positioned the furniture.

Tangential:

When I was living with my best friend in my late 20's we both had cats. Mine was more docile, but his was a rambunctious little shit...and I kid you not my friend was frying up a breast of chicken for himself on the stove, and the cat got up on the counter when no one was in the room for a moment and snatched the ENTIRE beast of chicken OUT of the hot ass, sizzling frying pan and buggered off with it JUST as my buddy reappeared in the kitchen.

I laughed my ass off. That cat was sneaky and bold AF.

Had a similar with our spaniel.
I was frying steaks for dinner, and they were ready a bit before the spuds and veg, so put on a plate and set in the bottom oven to keep them warm.
Few minutes later lifted the plate out and walked over to the table, set out 3 steaks. Wordering where the 4th was, I finured it had slid off the plate in the oven. Went looking for it.
In the like 5 seconds I was away from the oven the Spaniel had spotted, lifted and swallowed basically whole the missing steak. She was sitting locking her lips wagging her tail.
Looking for more
