Keeping your nose as clean as possible i see, duly noted.

Just not voting for a case that I don't like. And if you don't like that, well, that's your problem.

true, but tomorrow BB and UB will just rack up the case again, and the waste of a day will just go on and on.

If you feel strongly enough about that, then you should vote for him and end it. As it is, I don't feel there is any case to answer, apart from him being a doofus. And if what you say is true, then could Ruse be not used as bait to draw out UB and BB tomorrow?

Ruse was here this whole time yesterday...

I don't really like the case, and am not a fan of a random day one lynch, but that seems fishy to me.

So you believe there is absolutely no possibility that he did this to signal his master?

They could do so at any time, if they wish - if tomorrow will be as uneventful as today, someone will bring it up in a review of day 1. That someone will not necessarily be UB or BB and all they will have to do then is jump on the bandwagon with us none the wiser, really, or even point to that someone and name him/her BB or UB for extra chaos. Much cleaner to end it now.

There is always the possibility, but I myself don't believe it to have been the case.

Its a dangerous line to run though, plenty of innos on the train, i guess UB or BB are on it, but you can never be sure and when something like that happens, you cant be sure it is just the evils running a train.

I want to let ruse talk, i dont want to find out in sp heaven that we lynced our fucking healer because people think its scummy to expose half a code. If omtose and mockra hadnt proved their comms i would have voted mockra and pushed a lynch, so i understand where ruse is coming from.

patience then.

Well to be honest I think its a little unlikely as well. But really I'd rather not take the chance, he could have taken the risk to signal BB because he broke the code, and took a chance that we won't lynch.

Anyone whose willing to show up roled innocents like that probably should be gone on principle as well. Its just the wrong thing to do.

This kind of speculation leads nowhere but wifom as quite clearly indicated from HP's subsequent post.

The only way that we can get anything going and start getting reactions out of people is to vote.

VOTE RUSE

For above mentioned wifom... until something more solid comes along to vote on.

Here is your first post. As I stated before I think WIFOM is not a good reason to vote, but we agree to disagree on that point.

Omtose;374146 said:

Woot, bandwagon.

Interesting to see what the other have to say now... discussion between two people voting for the same person doesn't lead very far.

Your response to Galain adding his vote, looks to me like you want a bandwagon, or is that Woot for something else?

Omtose;374149 said:

Voting for yourself is stupid unless you're a jester. Anything else is giving up on your team (minus the cases of a few extraordinary gambits I've seen). And I'm not necessarily happy with Galain's vote as it seems a bit opportnistic... but I like bandwagons.

Nope, you admit you like bandwagons.

Omtose;374152 said:

lol... He thinks I'm a n00b... You do realise, Galain, that a fair number of times the first person to start getting votes is the day one lynch, right? That's not to say that Ruse should or shouldn't be that lynch in this game, but it is indication that every bandwagon, no matter how small or early, should be taken at least a little seriously.

This post was the one that made you really suspicious to me. It appears that you are telling Galain that you know that Ruse might be lynched, due to the fact that it is day 1 and bandwagons have a tendancy to stick, with very little to go on. It just looks scummy, if you can't see it, I am sorry. Add to this the fact that you then scold Galain, for agreeing with you, its something that a killer would do, so that even though they started the train they can hop off later in the day and let the wagon run its course. Then when Galain removes his vote you say this

Omtose;374300 said:

So it was a little hopeful to think it would get out of hand. I like bandwagons that get out of hand, they're the ones you get the most information out of.

I assumed at this time that you meant that you were disappointed that more people didn't hop on, thus increasing the chance for a later day 1 lynch, (as in, well Ruse has more votes than anyone, we may as well lynch him.)

IS this enough, do ou want more, IMO that is a solid case, yet you constued that case as strawmanning, you of course understand that reading between the lines is just as important as what is actually being said, right? Again, I was wrong, but this unceasing attack on me is mis-guided, as I felt, up until your reveal that you were scum, and no, I don't regret it, even if I get lynched, because at that time you played like scum.

Because I dont want to edit 356...

So then why are we waiting for him with less than an hour left. Does anyone really think he is going to get on within 15 minutes which is the deadline someone has posed?

so if i vote him off now and i see in the spoilers that he showed up five minutes later and was our only healer you will think, ahh well we got that oh so important day 1 lynch?

if ruse does come back and claims, or even if he is partnered and they claim, i want to give them as much chance as possible. Its only forty minutes, jeez you people need a fucking valium.

I can see almost as many reasons for keeping Ruse alive as I can for killing him.
But what is comes down to for me is why did ruse reveal the code. I have found codes before but never revealed them cause I figured the risk v reward ratio wasn't in my favor enough to for a reveal. I don't understand why he choose to reveal the code on day one and I would really like to hear his reasoning before I am forced to vote for him.
