GAH! That's what I get for doing it from memory instead of pasting from Realpolitik or some such. I meant A Hol Supports F Den - Ham, not Bel...*sigh*

Too late to change it, I guess...

Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

Sir Thursday

I know. The intent showed quite clearly, but ze rules are the rules. I'm willing to overlook a spelling mistake like DiBs made a few turns ago with Run and Ruh, but a repeated mistake that names an entire zone would be.... a bit overdoing it in lenience.

Retreat Deadline is tomorrow.

Build deadline is Tuesday. And no, I'm not going to speed that up, Brood, but I will look at my inbox monday night to see if I have everything I need to post a new turn :p

It is Brood, it is. Like the new avatar, by the way.
There is unfortunately at this moment a cab parked at my doorstep with two people shouting abuse at me through the intercom because there's expensive wine and a marvellous dinner to be had at someone elses expense (a bet someone lost yesterday, apparently, I don't remember it). So, I'm going to iron a shirt and run outside... after apologizing here for this 1 day extension. 1 strike gone from the mod.

Deadline for Fall 2002 will be wednesday 10 PM because I have to work tuesday night.
Deadline for retreats/builds will be saturday 10 PM because on friday, I'm not available due to partying.

My alliance with JA is rock-solid. With this fact in mind, that we will work together for the entireity of the rest of the game towards a joint win, I have a question.

I intend to quit the forum for various reasons, but I don't want to leave my ally in the shit by landing him with a replacement player who will decide they aren't going to play the long game, and stab him. Would it be ok for JA to take control of Egypt as well as Spain, is what I'm asking.

I dont mind, so long as you stop being a thilly gooth and you come back to the forums after a bit, else I shall cry tears of missingness.:p

Of course there'll hav to be some caveat put in to stop JA just taking Broods territories with his armies to reach the required SC number.

Or, as this game has dragged for EVER, we could just abandon and start a new one?

I'm not sure it's such a good idea, myself. No matter how solid an alliance is in this game, there will come a time when someone has to break it in order to claim victory. Saying that the alliance will never be broken is tantamount to saying that the game will never be finished, and if that's the case, we may as well stop now. I'm still enjoying it, so I'd prefer not to stop now. But if everyone else disagrees, fair enough.
