Im so glad i don't have to watch boring episodes. I can just skip the boring episodes.

Yep, I just skipped 3 or 4 mid season 3 as they appear to be Padme/politics heavy -I don't feel like I've missed anything.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

I have finished....

S6 sucks balls.

What about the final arc, the one where Yoda seeks out the Force and finds out basically how to become a Force Ghost? I thought that was awesome!

Nope. I hated that and Sifo episode before it.

Aw, but it gives a reason for Yoda telling Obi-Wan that Qui-Gon can train him how to do it (at the end of EpIII)...because he trained Yoda in TCW. I liked that. And I liked the explanation of the Force too and how the Jedi work with it.

Sidebar: was Re-watching EPIII last night, and after knowing that Sidious and Plagueis screwed with the Force to prolong their lives, and the Force lashed out and CREATED Anakin as a balance to that...makes Palpatine's comments at the Opera to Anakin SO MUCH more poignant. He says "Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith who lived many years ago. He was so powerful and so wise that he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life..." and during the pause looks Anakin flat in the face. And I'm sitting there like "Holy fuck! He's LITERALLY telling Anakin to his face that he is technically responsible for his birth!" The look he gives during the pause is so full of knowing. I'm impressed that I can find something like that so many years after the fact.

Nice finale to season 3.

Unarmed Jedi padawans vs armed Trandoshans.. plus wookies.

I like the way they use force pushes to divert blaster fire when they don't have a saber - I don't know why they don't use it more often.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Onto Season 4 - underwater wars. Ugh.

Seriously, light sabers underwater? That really isn't ever going to look right.

Yeah, the openers have a few cool notes...but overall the underwater stuff was really meh. Things get better after that arc is over.

So far the good ones have significantly outnumbered the weak ones - but that ep was really poor in so many ways.

There's certainly a recurring pattern - take an alien that appears in the OT.. visit their homeworld.. have the separatists under Dooku/Grievous interfere... cue jedi/republic rescue.

I don't mind, but it is getting a little predictable.

The latter half of S4, almost all of s5 avoids this for the most part. You begin to see Anakin's turn or at least the seedlings of his mistrust of the Jedi...and other great, great stuff.

Just watched about four back to back episodes about the Clones attack on a planet under the command of the rogue jedi General.

It was a bit obvious.. but really very watchable, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm thinking I might have to buy the set on bluray. So far the duff ones are far outweighed by the good episodes, and I'd like to watch them in decent quality without all the tv logos and other crap.

I don't think Netflix can stream at 1080p though. I'm pretty sure that only some shows or movies will go up to even 720p as well.

The BluRay discs are true 1080p.

EDIT: All of which means I'm a super nerd who wants my Star Wars in as high def as I can get it. :)

You guys are spoilt. I am usually happy if I can get videos at 360p in Youtube. 720P and I go take a bath while it buffers at my internet speed

Just by voice, not visually.

Finally got around to seeing season 4. Is it just me, or did the tone of the series get really really dark? The bright kid-friendly vibe of the first two season seems to have gone and they have no problems showing biologicals getting killed as opposed to droids only. So far I really like it!
