EPISODE 1 of S7 up today on D+!

YUS!

Only Ep 1? Are they really going to give us just 22 minutes a week?!

Yep. Everything new on D+ runs week to week. And to be fair, it's a smart way to do business as it keeps current subscribers on the hook.

I also got sick of having to binge an entire season of a popular show on like Netflix in a weekend or risk being spoiled. Stuff like Mando, Picard, Clone Wars ect. running week to week really saves me that trouble and makes my TV watching more spread out and enjoyable.

Its a really good thing Dark hasn't caught on (though it SHOULD!!) worldwide then.

I shouldn't be surprised that that is likely exactly what Disney is thinking: do all we can to prevent a one month subscription for binging what the people want to see and then getting back out. I find your opinion on the release topic interesting. Its a very legitimate issue trying to avoid spoilers online for shows that drop a whole season at once. However, I'm still a fan of not having to wait week by week for a single episode of a show. The vast majority of my life, that was the only option and I found the change very refreshing. Although I have been spoilered a time or two but maybe not as badly as some. I guess I'm mildly surprised that people are happy to go back to the "old" way of episode delivery so soon.

Yeah, I feel you, and get that. I guess my life just got so busy that I was missing out on stuff because it was all bingeagable and I could not get to it.

Sweet. I’ll probably watch every couple weeks so I’ll have at least an hour to watch.

After the 1st episode of course.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Just started S07E01. The models and textures are stylistically The Clone Wars, while the animation is so damn smooth. You can tell this is high budget!

In the lower levels of Corusant, right? I remember spotting a couple when we were watching the entire CW the last couple months.

1 min 9 secs into S7 Ep 1.. big difference in animation style I swear.

HUGE difference. They kept the angular designs, but softened every edge, smoothed out damn near everything, and just went all in on lighting. S7 is glorious and I've only seen one episode so far!

AHSOKA!!!

https://www.youtube....h?v=l77BI2VhmzA

My daughter informed me that the next 4 episodes are supposed to be heavy on Ahsoka and then the Mandalore angle comes into play. Is it just me or does this "preview" feel like it could be to a full length movie? So freaking excited!!!

Can’t wait for Disney + to start in Germany so I can watch the Clone Wars, as they are not available on DVD or blu ray any more (or only used but way to expensive)

Rebels really got me into the animated Star Wars things so looking forward to Clone Wars.

I got the early deal for Disney +, it will be worth it for Rebels and Mandalorian alone.

Clone Wars are so so good - I'm going to wait until I get D+ before I watch the new series though.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

I preordered for the early discount as well. And I am gonna watch ALL the clone wars (heard many good things about it, and I really enjoyed REBELS so I am quite hyped)

There are so many great story arcs. And the Clones get personalities. And Anakin develops as a jedi and also starts his progression to the dark. Maul and Savage... Obi Wan and Satine... Mandalore... Ventress... and Ahsoka, one of my favourite SW characters, with more screen time and development than the original movie characters ever got.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

S7, Ep 6. Two episodes focused on Ahsoka, though nothing especially momentous so far. Her new outfit kinda reminds me of a 70's era disco jumpsuit, lol. I did notice early in Ep 6,
Spoiler

Thought that was pretty cool.

Oh yes, multiple times. Absolutely love it. You're referring to a similar incident near the end of S2, I presume? I remembered that one a couple hours after my earlier post. Fair point, though, you'd think I would've thought of that one first. Possibly thought of RotJ because of the allowing passage part.

Latest episode was like a movie! 100% setting up the ROTS opening scene.

Maybe one of the best eps that TCW has ever done.
