In reality (what?), Wolverine's glib remarks and witty statements would be a nice opportunity for a less powerful person to take advantage of, let alone what some of the really powerful ones could do.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Same thing with the surfer. How the hell does supeman beat the silversufer? He exists on all plains of existence, he is able to manipulate all aspects of Supermans reality. Only some kind of fucking deal between marvel and dc could possibly conclude that superman was the winner of that fight.

The thing with magic weapons and Superman is that magic weapons bypass his invulnerability. They don't bypass his inherent superhuman strength and durability. And Mjolnir doesn't have an edge to cut his hand with.
Incidentally, later on in the comic he's using Mjolnir and Captain America's shield against an enemy that made Galactus into a chair.

Superman couldn't take Mjilnir. Only Thor can lift the Hammer. And anyway Kryptonians are overrated:you just have to be sure they don't get bathed by the light of a yellow sun.
Oh and in a SS vs Thor story the Surfer was going to demolish Thor until he realized that he was being manipulated by Loki
