I've got two real questions; I am quite perplexed and I've totally forgotten, in some respects, as it's been so long since I touched the series, about one or two months.

I started reading Midnight Tides and I'm skeptical that it is actually part of the Malazan Book of the Fallen Series. The characters are totally different and it bears little resemblence to many of the other books. I'm up to approximately page 100 and I'm considering putting the book down because it is not Malazan, I think it's a red herring personally.

Secondly, what is the publishing order? I'm really confused, I thought Deadhouse Gates was the first, and Gardens of the Moon was the third but someone I was talking to refuted my claim. So what is the publishing order to put this matter to rest? Toll the Hounds is the most recent book, right?

You know, just because you've just got back from the bbq doesn't give you the right to make stupid posts like this just to annoy us all (i.e. tiste).

Hmmmm... It was always going to have to be the case that we banned one of the attendees... looks like it's going to be you
