"I think i was a bad person before. Before this time. I do not try to be good now but i am not bad. Perhaps if i try harder i may get a better hand dealt next time? But surely that makes it pointless? Perhaps i am good. Just good at being pointless. But that would make me bad. Bad at having a point. Ah…. I see now. I was nothing before, I am nothing now. I am bad purely because im pointless. "

im not bitter(fecking people juming on the band wagon, mumble grumble) no not bitter at all! though if we get even half the turn out from last year it would be good, had quite a large league at the end.

Im tying myself in knots regarding making changes atm.
Should I take Diaby out? Should I bring in Muamba or Song? What about Utaka, shall I swap him?
Ah, decisions.

I know how you feel. Will need a serious editing session closer to the start, once more transfers have been sorted out.

bear in mind that, as a Scotsmen entering a fantasy football team for a league that is not his own, any and all english people i beat will be subjected to incredible amounts of ridicule
Conversely, any english people who's team beat mine are clearly enjoying the home field advantage, and the fact that the back six pages of football news in their newspapers don't consist of four and a half pages about the old firm, half a page for Scottish division 1, half a page for the other divisions, and a quarter page each for the English premiership and other world leagues

My team will be extensively rebuilt closer to the time of starting.
@Coco... I'm not even from the same continent and I beat them all last season.

Calm down, Calm Down!
We will see at seasons end.
Ive not heard many ideas on Prizes tho. Ive got a wooden spoon ready but does anyone have any ideas to a prize for the winner? Perhaps the next book is out when the season finishes?? Who has contacts!!?

easy. you won, beating an englishman at his own game, therefore you must have cheated because the english believe themselves inherently superior.
Scottish people, of course, know that this is a load of old toss.
unfortunately, as we're too god-damn lazy to run our own country, we decided instead to send a special agent south to run England into the ground.
Good work so far by this man, codename nworB nodroG rM.

Typical sweaty sock nonsense.
Everyone knows the purpose of the English taking part in anything is heroic failure, winning is awfully bad form, which I wouldn't expect any of you conquered peoples to understand.
Now where's that native boy with my pimms and the opium...
