I don't know, Boston fans are bad. My general rule is root against New York, unless they are playing Boston. Especially in football.

Since I hate all sports NYC, I rooted for the Pats. New Yorkers are intolerable...yes more so than Boston Fans.

Pah! NYC is about a billion times better than Atlanta...who in their right mind would ever want to live in Atlanta? :D

Anyway, Favre and co. wouldn't have beat the Pats. That was all psychological w/ the Giants as road warriors who'd almost beat the Pats last game of the season, weren't even expected to make the playoffs, coming in with a chip on their shoulder underdog shit.

Could they have beat the Pats? Yes. Would they? Maybe. If the Giants could beat the pats, and the PAckers should have beaten the Giants, it's reasonable to assume the PAck would have stood a chance against the PAts.

No RLY, you know that is not how the NFL works.

Anyway the Vikings are saying that just because they have a coach who is a personal friend of favre and they talk, does not mean that they as an organization said anything about him coming to play for them.

All I want to know is, can we figure out some way to accuse Belicheat of cheating again?

I'm a Colts and Yankees fan (my dad was a huge Yankees fan so me and my brother grew up cheering for them). I hate Boston with the power of a trillion stars. Say it right it's chow-DER, as in rhymes with sure.

@Shinrei: I hope he gets his head caught in that damn hoodie and falls down some stairs.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

They should just put all the television segments together and show it on a ABC, NBC, or CBS in the 11-4 slot. It is a way better soap opera.

It would draw ratings, yep. It looks though like some sort of middle ground is being reached. They're making a list of teams that want him that and are acceptable to the Packers, and are going to let Favre pick which one he gets traded to. Fair enough. He gets to play, and control over where he goes, they get draft picks. Everyone wins?

I don't think so. Favre has his legacy take a hit, the Packers take a popularity hit, and I just don't think he is going to be very good where he goes. Not enough time.

Ah, who cares. When you think back on Joe MOntana, do you really even consider the time he spent as a Chief? Does his time as a Wizard change how you think about MJ? It was ugly when it was happening, but really didn't do much to their legacy.

The latest in FavreWatch. He's being cool, not barging into camp and causing a ruckus, but still wanting sometihng to happen. Reasonable behavior from both sides.

And there's this.

I hope he goes to the Jets. It'll give them a better chance at beating the Cheatriots and Belicheat than Pennington or the other guy they have.

All the Favre drama needs to stop. It's time to for the Packers to take him back. One more year, and that's it.
