Just do Wildcat with the mighty AP.

I had to look that up. Nice. :The Force:
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

I have a lot of different emotions right now. What it comes down to though is I get to watch Favre for one more year, and that makes me happy.

The first picture I saw with him wearing a purple helmet made me a little ill though. I won't berooting for the Vikings, I'll be rooting for Favre.

I don't know what I'll think when they play the Packers though.

Oh my. If he stays healthy...

The Vikings are like the Jets were last year, albeit a little better at what they do. They run the football and stop the run, and they are very good at that. Bret won't have to do much, frankly, Rosenfels looked good against the Colts, but our entire starting secondary and back up awesome safety/nickle safety was out, though.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Sell Brett to the glue makers, he can't compete in the races anymore!

Come on you Bald Emotionless Man-Thing, Don't sign him. You said he missed his chance before training camp started, don't give him another one.

It is horrible that I am asking you to have as starting QB either Football Spice or Vick2.0, but please, no Brett Favre!

Football Spice? Why that nickname lol?

As long as he lobs the ball deep to Berrian pretty much constantly, I'll be happy.

But...sage is a herb, not a spice! :The Force: :p :respect:

Say what you like about Bernie, but he's fast - Al Davis would love him. Plus as a 3rd WR, cant argue!

It's done. Accept it. They're a better team for it having happened. Love it. Why did they decide to go ahead and sign him even after camp? Because the other two QBs aren't that good, and the passing game has looked like shit this year so far. It's official, instead of letting it ruin your enjoyment of the season, get positive and hope for the best.

Farve threw 22 TD's and 22 Interceptions last year.
Vikings QB's threw 22TD's and 17 Interceptions last year.

HOW IS HE AN UPGRADE? HE ISN'T.

Farve threw 22 TD's and 22 interceptions in a system that he hasn't played in for the last 15 years and with a O line that isn't as good as the Vikings, and while Thomas Jones is a good back he isn't Adrian Peterson by any stretch of the imagination. I would expect Farve to have greatly improved numbers playing in a system that he knows in his sleep. That being said the Vikings receiving core is the offenses weak spot right now. However they should quickly improve with Bret calling the shots. It is an upgrade. Do you know why..... Cause every one says so that is why... :)
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

His stats were wrecked last year by the last stretch when he was injured.

Also, you cant stack 8-9 guys in the box on defense with Favre at QB. He might be old, but he's damn sure good enough to pick you apart if you do that. TJ isnt.

He's an upgrade over Rosenfels (by a bit) and Jackson (by more), but I don't think he makes the Vikings a favorite to win the NFC.

He will not have a postive TD:INT number in the pre-season game tonight.

Favre is the devil! THE DEVIL!

Brett Favre is coming back because his daughter wants him to win one more Superbowl ....... utter bulls**t

For years this guy waffled ..... will he/won't he retire ..... to the point that his team the Green Bay Packers had enough and decided to move on !

Last year we watched this sad old guy physically break down to the point that it was embarrasing ..... thank god we thought .... retire, take it easy and count the money in the bank.

But no, the old gunslinger still wants one more shot, one more chance to get back at the team that helped build his legend. Right then, sign with the Vikes, get into camp, ota's etc ..... show the world that fight and spirit ....... whoa there ..... did you say training camp, official team activities .... uuuh huh ..... nah none of that team-bonding bullshit for old Brett .... screw that ..... back into retirement.

Now ..... with 3 pre-season games remaining, his majesty has decided he is ready to step up to the plate, to man up, to become one of the team ..... it makes me sick. I wonder what the guys in the locker room will think as the season tanks .... where was this guy when we were lifting weights, running sprints and busting our balls for a shot at making the team.

The Vikings ownership and coach are idiots in my opinion to bring this guy in and I for one will be cheering as it all blows up in their face !

Oh and by the way I'm a Seahawks fan.
