What's your favourite Rocky film? I think they all have certain merits, even Rocky 5. "You knocked him down, why don't you try knocking me down now?" And who do you think is the best opponent?

for me the first one is the best, the fight between rocky and apollo is fucking awesome and he loses which is soo unexpected. i also think apollo was the best opponent, he had great charisma and their fights were always the best. drago is just ridiculous while mr t was pretty good. wont even mention the other two.

Ivan Drago - "I vill break you."

Best moment of all the Rocky films is when you see Drago taining and he's inexplicably running round a room in tiny white shorts with a spotlight on him, whilst scientists inject him with roids and nod sagely at each other. Meanwhile Rocky is lifting bags of stones and outrunning the KGB (following in a Trabant) in Siberia.

which one has dolph lundgren in it? I remember liking that one the best,

though compared to almost any other film, I hate all the rocky films quite badly.

Commentator: 'Do you except the challenge of Rocky Balboa?'
Clubber Lang: 'No I do not except the challenge, because Balboa IS no challenge.'

Again, Clubber: 'No, I don't hate him, but I pity the fool.'

Mr T at his best.

I appreciate the merits of rocky 1 but i prefer boxing movies to romances, which is why I like 3 and 4 better. I still think Apollo was the best character, but the latter films were more action packed. Oh, and I hate adrian, why is she always trying to convince my mate rocky to hang up his gloves?

I voted 6 only because it's the one freshest in my mind. I haven't seen the first two in a decade or so... I really should get around to doing something about that.

I would claim that 1 and 6... perhaps 2 aswell... have the quality of a great serious dramas. Good scripts, quality acting, a gripping story and they're entertaining. The rest are just entertaining.

As for Rocky 5 - like Terminator 3, Spiderman 3, Daredevil, Superman Returns and certain other motion pictures this is a film we do not speak of.

Undecided between 1 and 4 but decided 1. Though Ivan Draco is the best opponent:"I'll break you in two".
