Skip SeaQuest. It's mostly nostalgia and so on keeping people talking about it - not the actual quality of show.

Darwin the talking dolphin is not a draw in this day and age.

Oi! That show has two fairly decent, if formulaic seasons...followed by one absolutely mind-blowing batshit insane one that must be seen to be believed.

Like seriously, SEAQUEST Season 3 is on crack, but in a brilliantly entertaining way.

And the draw is Jonathan Brandis' Lucas' characters underwater stealth X-wing fighter, The Stinger with a mehcanical fishtail to make it fly through the water.

House of Cards is on UK Netflix as well. What I have started with is The Office (US) because I never got through the final season, which American Netflix has! Whoop!

I actually only needed to get season 9. I just want to finish the thing, despite a few of the plotlines in seasons 7 and 8 being pretty boring, and I wish they would get rid of Catherine Tate. But actually I am enjoying it because there are still some pretty funny bits. Also I love Ellie Kemper.

Tiste for someone who is not as adept at tweaking things. How can you watch the US Netflix? What did you do?

Watching HOUSE OF CARDS season 2.

It just gets better and better.
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Install Hola extension in your version of Firefox. Mess around a bit afterwards.

Yeah I have Netflix on all my devices (phone, X Box, Wii etc.) but I can only watch US Netflix on the computer. It is a bit dodgy and sometimes it throws me out but on the whole it seems to work. Also I have Chrome cast so I can watch whatever is happening on my computer on my TV.

Welp, they cancelled Almost Human. Not a great show by any means, but I enjoyed watching it.

On the bright side, it's almost time for summer tv. That means new episodes of The Bridge and Longmire. Booyah!
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

In Canada on SPACE they have quietly started playing THE RETURNED (LES REVENANTS) in the original french with subtitles on Saturday nights. I've not watched yet, but I'm really glad I never gave in to watching the American remake with Red from THAT 70's SHOW...as I hear the original is just so hauntingly good. I'll touch base after I've watched a few eps.

Surviving Jack has A+ writing for a new show. It's fully in the Scrubs + Married With Children groove. I've seen five episodes so far and have loved it.

No magic innate to them. Sam and Dean bodge together magic from books, found objects and improvisation.

They also usually have little to no clue about the monsters and bad guys they're fighting because of their past. And an abiding love for American muscle cars and old rock music.

And then there's the whole spoilers thing to do with one of the brothers. :)

Even though I've not gotten there yet, I know vaguely about Cas.

I should pick Supernatural up again. I stopped after season 5 because that's where the original showrunner (and his brilliantly-planned arc) went to, and because the final scene of the otherwise brilliant final episode pissed me off so much I never went back.

I gave it a shot. It's got quite the coveted timeslot..but after watching an hour of GoT, it's REALLY hard to get into a show about uppity Silicon Valley residents.

I found it okay, but overly meh. May give it a further chance down the road if I hear good things about the first season.

Yah it's pretty hilarious, but I haven't watched the new one yet. From what I'm hearing from my tech buddies it's pretty on the nose too. I mean it's certainly satire, but it requires shockingly little exaggeration (so not unlike most other Mike Judge efforts). The cults of personality, the weird cross section of young&newly rich w/ awkward and geeky (including but not limited to those on the autism spectrum), the surreality to outsiders of what constitutes "big" turning point ideas in this subculture. Just really sharp observations all around.
