How to solve your Big Brother problem:
1) Win head of household.
2) Win power of veto.
3) With ultimate power (HoH & PoV), you get to decide what stupid shit to watch. Probably some corny dating show with broke ass hoes.

You're welcome. I'll expect the check in the mail for my advice/therapy to be post marked no later then end of month. Also, would appreciate recommendations of my powerful therapeutic services to your friends and family.

Just started Lucifer Season 5. Let's see how this goes ...
"Fortune favors the bold, though statistics favor the cautious." - Indomitable Courteous (Icy) Fist, The Palace Job - Patrick Weekes

"Well well well ... if it ain't The Invisible C**t." - Billy Butcher, The Boys

"I have strong views about not tempting providence and, as a wise man once said, the difference between luck and a wheelbarrow is, luck doesn’t work if you push it." - Colonel Orhan, Sixteen Ways to Defend a Walled City - KJ Parker

Started watching AFTER LIFE, predominantly on QT's recommendation (among others) and it's pretty funny of rather bleak at present. Liberal unnecessary use of the C-word aside, I think it's going to be one that draws you in and really makes you care about the people in it.

Finished watching CURSED.
It was good, but it wasn't. It was... I dunno, the acting was on the whole pretty dire and the whole thing was melodrama without actually being that intriguing but at the same time I enjoyed watching it. Hard to explain but I dunno. It was pretty naff (some bits were cringeworthy!) but at the same time I reckon I'd watch the second season if they made one. Pym was the best character in it by far I hope they give her more to do in S2.

Well I finished AFTER LIFE season 1, QT was right it is outstanding. Funny, dark, full of hope and light through darkness (heavy atheist content notwithstanding ;)) Starting season 2 tonight!

Just finished DETECTORISTS.

Really sweet-natured little "slice of life" comedy. Written by Mackenzie Crook (off The Office etc), starring him and Toby Jones as the main characters.

It's not rolling on the floor funny, it's quite understated and sparse but it's beautifully written so it all works.

Tony Jones is an absolute treasure and that whole show is an utter delight from start to finish. And there are some seriously funny parts, I laughed out loud at least once an episode.

He really is.

I didn't phrase that well at all - there's plenty of laugh out loud moments, I think it's more a case of I like it for the believability and kind-natured element of it. Either way though it's brilliant - Mr Not a Blacksmith is allowed to recommend more things ;)

Detectorists is amazingly good.

Fun fact, I watched it for the first time a few years ago when SE mentioned it was one of his favorites.

I’m waiting for you.....

Watching Korra S3.

Watching West Wing S5. This show is dumber then it is trying to come off as but you still have to keep going just to see those predictions playing out.

Just finished Korra S3. Fuck man what an epic throw down across the board of our new generation of heroes. I’d say it rivals anything from Aang’s show. Easy.

Shucks man my brother has a free Starz thing on his cable device and I about lost my shit cause of Outlander which I haven’t been able to see since S3 but with all of us here while he is at work and only 1 tv I couldn’t just throw up S4 without feeling bad and also cause old man had watched a bit of S1 recently but damn I was tempted. Anyway we got through S1 Ep2. If everybody goes to bed early I’m gonna be all over S4.

Finished AFTER LIFE and man I'm glad QT talked me round to watching it. It can be pretty dark at tones but it is genuinely funny and wonderful at other times. Dunno when season 3 is on but I'm all in.

BK, I've got your new Korean Drama lined up...IT'S OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY...16 eps on Netflix. The first ep was a little weird and almost Tim Burton-esque so I almost dropped it, but the second ep hooked me in 100%, and now I love it.

Hmm cool beans. It ll be quite awhile fore I can check it out.

I WAS watching Outlander S4 when alone(ish) as it was free but they cut me off after only getting 3 eps in. My sister watched S1 Eps 1-5 with me here and the cut off happened.

I also got her into American Gods S1 and they cut us at finale. I’ve never seen S2...fuck

She said she wanted to activate the sub on her card while we here so we can watch those 2 shows after everybody else goes to bed. Speaking of Outlander my copies of 1-4 are victims of the hurricane. Water logged...

Wat-the-wut?! A G4 reboot is coming in 2021?! I wonder how that will look and what form it will take? G4 used to have the best E3 coverage at one time. I think Gee-off Keeyglee worked for them at one time. Attack of the Show was a lot of fun and gave us Olivia Munn's best work. It was responsible for launching her career.

This was SDCC announcement? Was anyone aware that Comic Con was going on this year? I'm guessing in a "from home" / virtual format?

This put a smile on my face. X-Play used to be my jam! Bowl of cereal and all the gaming news made for a mon-fri daily appointment.

Glad to see Adam Sessler doing this, because I if i remember correctly I believe there was some acrimony when G4 closed up shop. I got the feeling things didn't end on pleasant terms.

Is raised by wolves any good? When I saw the trailer I thought it was a movie. Just found it’s a tv series and already 3 episodes out?
