Ok, started watching Game of Thrones today, first two eps down, 3rd down on the play button now.

I'm quite liking it.

One question for the ones that already have see it. Were the Lassiter brother (the big one, not the small one) and his sister doing what I am thinking that they were doing in that tower that Bran was climbing?
Was like, say what??? Brother and sister?????

I've watched Camelot a few weeks back, a decent "new" look on the Arthur legend, hoping for a second season at least.

Nope, Camelot was cancelled. Its numbers weren't stellar, and even though it had a strong cast it failed to capture GoT fans...in fact one actor from Camelot is going to be in season 2 of GoT.

STARZ are kind of bad when it comes to having faith in certain shows...currently TORCHWOOD is on the same ropes of testability and likely won't get another season.

Agree in every respect. Nearly the entirety of the rest of the cast was decent enough...but yeah Aurthur dude was suckage.

Caught the fourth ep of ALPHAS. I'm torn. Autistic Terrorist Mastermind Girl was just messed up enough to be genius, but the main characters are still either bland or grating.

'SyFy' cancelled Eureka... BUT WHY? More MEGASUPERDUPERSHARKOPUS VS MARTIANMETEORMALEASAURUS movies of the week?

The comments at the bottom of the above link pretty much sum it up for me.

Eureka and Warehouse 13 are the two best shows on 'syfy', and I still don't understand why they show 'wrasslin'?

Eureka was their second rated show, behind warehouse 13... unless the plot/stories in the next season was retarded, why would they do this? Brings back memories of them cancelling farscape for no reason at all.

So they cancelled Eureka and Stargate Universe, which were two of the best 'sci-fi' shows I have ever seen.

The SyFy channel ratings for monday night (when they do eureka and then warehouse 13) have more viewer percentage than any time on any day has had on SyFy in over 10 years... and somehow you cancel the show?

Fall 2011 season close now...

Am cautiously psyched for PERSON OF INTEREST, mostly because Emerson absolutely rocked on LOST, and Caviziel is generally good for drama. Not sure the premise works, but i'll give it a look.

Am wholly pessimistic about GRIMM but willhave a glance if only because in my head it should have been FABLES as a detective series. The other faerie-tale in real life series, ONCE UPON A TIME, gets none of my eye time because the 'woman and child move to new town, discover fables' premise makes my teeth itch.

TERRA NOVA... it's dinosaurs and time travel, soi have to at least give it a chance, but as i've posted elsethread an upthread, expectations are low. Likely to be this season's V where they burn it off just to make back the tall dollars invested.

I know it's the last season, but am already done with HOUSE. Lisa Edelstein leaving just confirms it.

I'm hideously interested in what they do with FRINGE this season, especially with rumours this may be its last run.

I have high hopes for WALKING DEAD this season. Some of the weaker points should be avoidable now that it has a firm fan base, and if they're getting into the next major storyline from the comics, it has awesome potential.


...and so far, that is all.
