Three segments in one hour where police successfully deescalated a situation such that they never hand to manhandle anyone and everyone was left satisfied with the resolution of the event? That really is remarkable.

Finished up Handmaids Tale season 2.

There were a few spots where it felt they were re-hashing and spinning their wheels, but overall a really solid season.

Now the long wait for season 3.

Gave Disenchantment a go. Lasted roughly fifteen minutes and gave up. Every tired gag and cliche you could think of with seemingly very little thought. Sigh!

The first three episodes were mediocre, but each episode after that got progressively funnier. By the end of the season, it had me busting a gut.

yeah, I wanted Disenchantment to be good, but all it manages to produce in me is a rare chuckle. A smile now and then. Mostly it's just bad.

I enjoyed it tbh. I'm going to keep going. I was expecting "Futurama but a fantasy version" but it's not quite as good as that. Made me laugh enough that I want to watch more.

To be fair to it I was doing other things with it on in the background after the first few minutes. With people saying it improves as it goes I might give it another crack tonight and see if my opinion differs.
