New season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is pretty disappointing tbh. Season 3 was amazing so I'm a bit let down. It has got better going through it but eh. They've decided not to renew it after the second part of the fourth season next year and maybe that's for the best.
Also why get rid of Daveed Diggs? The dude is incredible!

Yup. Used to watch this in my teens when I was home for lunch. The most calming show EVER.
@BK, We've now caught up to the most recently released ep of TERRACE HOUSE. Man, I love this show! Scion's igloo was da bomb. Seina is a DRUNK! LOL

My mind was blown when she showed up...
My fav bit of episodes for all TH honestly. I was hooked especially with all the Ami stuff.

Gods...I don't get what Taka AND Shohei saw in her...she was about as entertaining as a box of raisins. Zero personality. And wants CONSTANT attention. LOL
I need Tsubasa and Shion to get together. They are the heart of this season so far.
And I want some of Taka's BREW clothing gear, but all the links to it only go to Japanese sites, so that sucks.

Finished DS9! There's some things I could nitpick but it mostly sticks the landing.

Finally got around to starting Netflix's LOST IN SPACE show, and I'm really impressed so far. The opening episode was stunningly done, acted, and emotional...and then I realized why when the credits rolled. Neil Marshall! I love me some Neil Marshall. Anyways, I'm in for the season for sure.
Also I've been a Molly Parker fan since I was a kid.

Yah...it really does take a while to settle in to the new characters and setting (for writers & audience alike), but it gets there. Everyone is 'rougher', more cranky, or more focused on personal interests (for good and not so good reasons) than the TNG characters. There's no unified mission. But over the course of the show one develops, and it's pretty rewarding to see, and it's an interesting dynamic compared to the first couple ST shows. It totally makes sense how Ronald Moore went from this to BSG.

You must be wathing a diffenret lost in space to me. The writing was so bad, the dialogue worse, the acting so wooden that I gave up on it even as background noise.

GLOW season 2: more of the same from the first season. Low stakes but engaging drama. Goofy but generally effective humor. Lots of enthusiasm from a cast that clearly loves what they're doing. Marc Maron being hella surly.

I figured you were talking about the sci-fi writer one, Far Beyond the Stars. One of the best eps of the entire show.

Finished up Mad Men.
Over 7 seasons it was consistently good, sometimes very good. But it was never great, and i was never bored.
I know Don is the main man, but Roger Sterling was the best character.
The scene with Peggy and Stan was the highlight of the finale.
I'm thinking Sopranos next, still havent got around to watching it.

That'd be a good one cuz you can draw the parallels between Tony and Don.

Sopranos is one of my all time favorite shows. It does have a low point in it though. That Rome, Oz and Carnival are easy recos by me.
I've watched Rome through twice, but its been a good 10 years since. Oz and Carnival are on the list.

Watch out for Soprano's cravings similar to Mad Men. I wanted to eat meat, pasta, bread and red wine all the time watching it. Man Men gave me a Bourbon habit.

This is a Netflix thing so I'm putting it in TV, but Hannah Gadsby's "Nanette" special is absolutely incredible. It straddles the line between standup and more serious monologue. I was not familiar with her beforehand, so the whole thing took me by surprise time after time. A+ stuff and highly recommended to all.
