You people. All of you who read this thread. NEED to watch MANHATTAN. Seriously. And bonus is that you can binge the entire first season now if you like.

I don't love white bear as much as the others, but it was still good. I would say that's the weakest. Or maybe the Waldo episode, those two were about even for me.

I really enjoyed the memory grain one and the dystopian bike riding one, I don't remember their names.

It's like a cross between Treehouse of Horror and a Mentos commercial.

Ooh, I found out about the Christmas special that wasn't on Netflix and saw that on YouTube. That was a good one too.

I found the pilot of Supergirl to be so cringeworthy, to not even bother with a second episode. Sounds like i made the right choice.

Despite some eye rolling moments of it's own, I'm actually enjoying BLINDSPOT so far.

I'm still piling up 3 eps on my PVR before giving it another go, and I'll binge those 3...if the pilot plus 3 reg season eps doesn't sell me...I'm off and the show isn't for me.

Master of None (on Netflix): I'm 4 eps in, and I think this show is gonna start blowing up to like near-Louie status. Episode 1 is a decent other-people's-kids standup routine turned into a good episode of television. Then Episode 2 drops a true blue masterpiece on your head and the stakes are raised. Ep 3 is pretty solid, and then Ep 4 is another masterpiece. Definitely planning to kick this whole thing out this weekend.

I think Aziz's dad is the breakout star of the show.

Yah he is hilarious. And his mom is a little stiffer with the line readings but is absolutely adorable nonetheless.

Gah, tried to watch Ep 2 of SUPERGIRL last night (my wife even watched, though after the godawful pilot she swore she wasn't going to)...we got a half hour in before shutting it off.

Good gravy it's bad. Like I can tell they WANT desperately to be FLASH...but they can't pull it off.

Supergirl apparently ratings dropped again (another 23%) this week from the already dropped second episode ratings (which was like 38%). So that's 50% of the ratings the pilot garnered. It's a downward slide I expect to continue, especially with big glaring issues showing up in reviews (Superman problem) or the like.

And I'd be lying if I didn't want what happened with Constantine to happen here. SG gets cancelled due to low ratings on CBS...the character is now free to appear on the CW DC shows.

Just saw the pilot episode of some show called AGENT-X which is about a secret agent working for the vice president. It is so laughably bad. But sadly not actually in a humourous way. It has some high profile actors (Sharon Stone, James Early Jones) and the glossy look of some decent budget shows, but practically everything about it was plodding and dull. Made by TNT so maybe the ratings expectations are low, but this should be gone in a manner of weeks unless they do something crazy.

I have my easy to watch action shows like BLINDSPOT and THE BLACKLIST, and well done comic book stuff like FLASH and ARROW (less enthused about that these days), and AGENTS OF SHIELD has come a long way in terms of quality. Since I tend to watch a couple of episodes together, I could do with another show or two but not sure what else is worth following. Waiting for JESSICA JONES but that will probably be a binge watch so only a temporary fix.

Is there something obvious out there that I should be following? (allowing for the fact that I find zombies to be one of the most tedious things in film/tv history I will never be watching THE WALKING DEAD).

The Last Man on Earth

My coworker had a theory about that show. He said that all the new peeps that "showed" up in the show were actually all in Phil's head. He just went crazy and imagined these folks as his way of coping and staying alive. Would make sense as he talks to balls and is generally a crazy dude. And now he would slowly come to that realization as all the people are going to be leaving one by one.

But that cant be true cause it would actually make the show interesting.
No Touchy.
