So I'm watching The 100 season 2. I had initially given up on it, but hot damn it gets a lot better further into season 2. It's interesting to see how the various factions are actually total assholes in their own right. The Ark people are completely elitist racists, the "grounders" are not even barbarians, they're frikkin' savages. The Mountain Men are practically nazis.
But despite the faults of the various factions it is easy to see why they do as they do. It's the whole "our people comes first" idea they're basing it on. They have all lived and survived together for so long it's easy to see why you'd be xenophobic towards other groups.
Oh yeah, and much, MUCH less annoying teen angst. That is a good thing.

Screw you all, and have a nice day!

Dark Matter has potential to be fun. As long as it doesn't try to take itself seriously.
Proof on the other hand already seems to be going to take itself seriously. Not certain I'll make it through the pilot.

Killjoys.: "We will cross contested jurisdictions, find who or what you are looking for and bring back in the condition requested"
Oh wait, we already had something like that and it was the best show ever made and it was cancelled.

Turn S2 finale. Ugh 1700's war style is so crazy. Let's stand in line and take turns shooting each round.
It has always amazed me. I have always thought if I had been alive in such a time I would refuse and yet obviously very few people in the time did. Which shows how they thought it was normal, neccessary and logical to do so. Amazing

What makes Humans on Channel 4 any different from Humans on Channels 1, 2, and 3?

Anyone watching The Whispers?
I wasn't expecting much from this but really enjoyed the first two eps and now on board for the rest of the season!

Looks like one of all those post-LOST shows that got canceled after one season leaving fans without any answers.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

That is my one concern, that it'll get cancelled early, it seems to happen to a lot of these type of shows.
The first two episodes have been forthcoming with some answers and they're revealing quicker than I expected, nothing else to watch, give it a bash!

I've seen first episode of both Dark Matter and Killjoys now, the new scifi shows form SyFy. Both are entertaining, both decently enough made.
Dark Matter is about a group of people waking up on a crashing spaceship and none of them know who they or the others are. Plus a robot.
Killjoys is basically a show about bounty hunters. It's not a great show, but it was good fun and good enough that I'll be watching the next couple of episodes. It did feature a few older tricks in the book that I thought most film/series makers would have left behind in the nineties, but who knows, that might actually turn out to be a good thing?
Overall, Dark Matter is the superior show, though both show evidence of having a few corners cut here and there, budget-wise. I hope that this is because more money has been spent on The Expanse. (Damn, I just can't get that show out of my head)
In conclusion, both pilots are decent and entertaining and I'll be watching both shows, at least for the next couple of episodes to see where it's going.

Anyone want to see a really cool video about a TV series called Yonderland? I'll conveniently provide you with such a video right here on the board!
Awesome, and now that that's done, I'll go back and read the recent posts in this thread by my fellow board compatriots and see what they had to say today.

Delete the S from https and if it's YouTube it'll embed auto!
Only learnt that myself a couple of weeks ago thanks to Apt.

We are now 9 eps into SENSE8 and both the Mrs. and I LOVE this show. I'll give a full report when we are done the whole season, but so far it's rather blowing us away.
