What season are you on? She's ALWAYS abrasive. Always. She's never not that. Even when she's being softer and letting people in...she's still abrasive. I think she's different in S4, but it may not be in the way you might like.

Still only season 1 (it's going slow as I am working a lot of later shifts atm and my wife works in the day!) I mean fair play to the writers and to Katee Sackhof for playing the part well, but it's still annoying!

Without trying to spoil anything, Starbuck is a bit of a cipher to the audience, because I think the showrunners weren't sure where they wanted to take her character. Even up to the end of the series, really.

I posted on this a while back but it never showed up. Caught the pilot of SCORPION. The plane/car scene was so ridiculous I laughed out loud. Not sticking around for more eps.

I think this was one of two shows that the network was so worried about that they pimped it on BIG BROTHER by having a competition be SCORPION-themed, and then have the reward be the contestants allowed to watch the first ep...which they all go into the diary room and say is the best new show (of course).

If ever there were needed proof that even BB is scripted reality TV...it's shit like that.

Because American writers and producers are so stupid they're not even capable of filing the serial numbers off the ideas they steal.

Edit: And that apparently includes directors of photography. The scenes are even framed the same.

I just watched the first episode of Scorpion and I can't believe I'm saying this, but I enjoyed it. It's so absurd and the technological details are so so so incorrect, yet it's so over the top that I'm enjoying it.

I never watched BC but I saw the ads for months on BBC America with David saying "We will catch whoever did this." And he has the the same damn line in GP!! It all prob felt like De ja vue for him to film GP.

Oh well I Dvred it.


I did some reading up. Apparently Broadchurch was written with 10 episodes but they had to cut it to eight episodes to sell it. Gracepoint is the full series as intended. Which, purely supposition on my part, I suspect is why Tennant wanted the role. I had the feeling when I watched Broadchurch that the one 'wrong' thing was his character needing more background. I'm willing to bet that the majority of the cut material is going to focus on that.

Been blasting through BROOKLYN 99 Season 1 on Netflix and I fucking LOVE this show. It's damned funny. Chelsea Peretti especially makes me HOWL.

Yah it's pretty great. Season 2 just premiered last Sunday and it was a strong episode too. Terry Crews is one of my favorite humans, and it's great to see Andre Braugher on a bonafide hit show.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.
