Wow. Hey, could you PM me about anything else I've done and not realized?
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

You've peed in every pool you've been in, and you smile sadistically when you do it. The problem arose when you began to get "creative" at water parks. Wave pools and Waterslides have never been so fouled. You dick. ;)

That all does explain several of the restraining orders I've been served.

The first season of MARON is on Netflix (US) now and its one of the best shows I've seen in a while. It's a lot like CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM in that it takes real peoples real lives and real careers in show business and sort of adds some fiction to it, with some silliness. But this show diverges from CURB in that the protagonist (comedian and podcaster Marc Maron) has a bit more compassion (i.e. SOME) and it deals more with his internal struggles and relationship issues. A bit self-loathing at times, but its used to good effect. Bobcat Golthwaite and Luke Matheney (who directed the Oscar winning short film GOD OF LOVE - which I highly recommend) direct the episodes and there's some cameos and guest appearances by some pretty good names (Ileana Douglas, Judd HIrsch, Dave Foley, Jeff Garland, Dennis Leary, Gina Gershon, etc). Its a good show and you should watch it.
Theorizing that one could poop within his own lifetime, Doctor Poopet led an elite group of scientists into the desert to develop a top secret project, known as QUANTUM POOP. Pressured to prove his theories or lose funding, Doctor Poopet, prematurely stepped into the Poop Accelerator and vanished. He awoke to find himself in the past, suffering from partial amnesia and facing a mirror image that was not his own. Fortunately, contact with his own bowels was made through brainwave transmissions, with Al the Poop Observer, who appeared in the form of a hologram that only Doctor Poopet could see and hear. Trapped in the past, Doctor Poopet finds himself pooping from life to life, pooping things right, that once went wrong and hoping each time, that his next poop will be the poop home.

I can't say i expect much from INTELLIGENCE, but Josh Holloway was always fun to watch on LOST so i'll at least give it a chance.

HELIX... initial buzz is good... not sure i think the formula is a recipe for success, but the names associated with it at least give me a little hope and it's a Canadian production in part so, again, I'll give it a chance.

GRIMM returned last week with a strong ep.

POI, ALMOST HUMAN both back this week. Looking fwd to both tho HUMAN is on shaky ground with me.

SLEEPY HOLLOW back next week... YAY!

Hideously backlogged on AGENTS OF SHIELD and ARROW but continuing to DVR.

Saw first episode of THE TOMORROW PEOPLE... Good concept somewhat ruined by a poor script. Will see how it pans out.

Haven't seen any of it, but judging from the premise described on Wikipedia, they should've hired Warren Ellis to write the script. I'd watch the FUCK out of that show.

Anyone here watched the first few episodes of Helix. Has a decent enough imdb rating so far, but it is a Sci-Fi Channel show (i refuse to use their stupid rebrand name), so it could be really cheap looking and have crap acting as well.

Any unbiased opinions from the good folks here (and the bad folks too i suppose)?

Has Intelligence aired yet as well. I've seen a few mentions of it, and i must say the premise doesnt sound very original. At least something like Chuck was overtly going for laughs, and Jake 2.0 was a 6 million dollar man for a younger audience. This will have to work hard not to fall totally flat. Curious to see what the guy from Lost will be like as a lead though.

Nah we only traffic in biased opinions here.

Universal finally repeated episode 9 of Sleepy Hollow, which didn't record first time round so I missed it.

Rewatched Ep 8 last night, will watch 9 tonight. Can't wait for this to start up again, I've really been missing it!

Ep8 spoiler..

Watched the first two eps. Decent enough mystery to get me back for another ep, but predictable, weakly plotted and some of the performances are painfully bland... am hoping those are just startup issues tho'.

Again, another one that will get me back for another ep but has to do better to keep my attention.
Holloway can act, but his supporting cast and storyline will need some more intrigue.

Re: Helix - Watched the pilot. Okay. This is a show I would have watched back in the days when there were 4 TV channels...but there is just too much other better stuff on right now...

Re: Intelligence - Ditto above. Interesting (if unoriginal) concept. Dull execution with unlikeable characters. I like Josh Holloway, but I'd prefer to watch him in The Sawyer & Miles Buddy Cop Show from Lost S6. :p

Maybe I'm just too picky, but shows have to wow me in the pilot these days. My DVR is busy enough as it is...

I don't think there is anything wrong with demanding MORE from your TV in 2014...this isn't the 90's where everyone is just going to gobble up more CSI. This is a post-BREAKING BAD world, and in that world we KNOW that writing CAN be superior...so there isn't anything wrong with demanding that.
