I actually hated Fringe the first time I saw it. Got through a few episodes and gave up on it, but started watching it again for some reason. I don't know how far you got in Fringe but from what i remember season 1 was pretty weak but season 2, especially the last few episodes were really fantastic. Maybe you should give it a try again. Breaking Bad is also good, but if it didn't draw you in after watching the first season or two, then I don't think it will anymore.

Battlestar Galactica prequel Blood & Chrome will launch this Friday
It is me or does the CGI and overall quality of this looks a bit cheesy?

The Series 3 finale of DOWNTON ABBEY was everything I hoped it would be!
I swear, Julian Fellowes has a way to build the plot of one episode to a crescendo where I not only have sympathy for the villain, but grin like an idiot during a cricket match.
THIS is why I watch British telly.
Just a wonderful season ender, and makes me can't wait for the Christmas special this year!

The clip is the original teaser from way back when the "series" was announced, so I'm hoping they beefed up the quality since then.

They won't have...not for a Web Series. This is as good as it will get unfortunately.

So excited. But why so damn little fanfare? The lack of marketing is just baffling.
I guess they're trying for a viral buzz factor here.

OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Actually last I heard they aren't even trying to market it at all. When the suits at the network saw it they balked at having it on TV, downgraded it to a web series, and are now hoping it will quietly air and then disappear.
Seriously, word is that this is one of those things they are counting as a mistake and are trying to move on from.

Spent the past weekend with the fam. Which also meant spent a shit-ton of time watching Disney with the younguns.
Gravity Falls on Disney, is frakkin hilarious. First time I've actually enjoyed watching most of those kids shows.

Damn all tv shows that involve members of the public, a panel of judges, and public voting.
And Merlin. The makers should maybe get credit for making so many seasons of what is essentially the same episode, but seriously, even kids should be getting bored of this by now.
'Shifty eyed bad person who should have been killed ages ago threatens to destroy Arthur somehow, usually making use of an insider who can bypass all gates, walls and guards simply by wearing a cloak and hood. Merlin discovers plan, talks to a dragon, then foils threat using a single spell under Arthurs nose, but no one EVER sees. All returns to how it was at the start. '
It took goddamn ages for Uther to die, and even then the magic was to blame. What the hell would be wrong with Merlin actually standing alongside Arthur?
What a waste, I wish they'd just make Bernhard Cornwells Warlord trilogy.

Yeah, I really only watch it for Gwen's boobs these days.

But seriously, I agree. I'm getting tired of it.

It was funny, but it also ruined my immersion. I cannot see a good reason for them doing it. If you can't use 'shit' for some reason, just use frak instead. It's not like you didn't use it multiple times throughout the rest of the episode.
The wrench was slapstick-y, and BSG is not slapstick-y.

Also, I'm pretty sure I'm blind from all that lens flare. Why the "clank of wrench* are there so many lights flaring all over the bloody ship and in space!? Other than me loosing my eyesight the episodes were alright.

I think the light and the soft focus is their way of fudging the live action/CGI boundaries.
