I always predicted where they would go with the machine, but i really enjoyed the scenes of Finch 'training' it.
John was in fine form in the premiere, and i like the new dynamic of the two cops being in the loop, as entertaining as it was when they weren't.
Amy Acker is glorious in this role and i want them to keep her.

Yah agreed. It's been kinda limp (relative to 2008 at least) on the election, but that iphone skit was awesome.

And the rest of the episode not so much.
That's a real problem w SNL... brief shining moments of brilliance surrounded by longer stretches of unfunny. No motivation to sit through or ff through 85min of crap for 5min of genius when i can watch it on the internet a few days later when someone raves about it.

Elementary is turning out to be really good and is one of three shows I religiously watch now, the other two being Castle and Fringe. I'm really really liking it (it takes the place of, and is reminiscent of Lie to Me). Jolie's first squeeze is doing a great acting job and even Lui is pulling her own. If y'all haven't watched it yet, check it out.

OK, having caught up with the current run of Supernatural, I find myself lacking something to watch. Any recommendations? I didn't like Baking Bread or Fringe, by the way.
It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; because there is not effort without error and shortcomings; but who does actually strive to do the deed; who knows the great enthusiasm, the great devotion, who spends himself in a worthy cause, who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement and who at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly.
