I don't know how it is in England Cougar, but that genuinely how it is here.
United do anything noteworthy, a barrage of shite comes my, and every other liverpool, and liverpool only, fans way.
We beat United 4-1.
i held my tongue, didn't send any text messages, I met the most guilty united fan of all out, didn't mention the match once.
And I was steaming drunk
Some saturday evening I get a host of bad manners about liverpool being jammy gits (despite bossing the entire game), which I obviously responded to
Come sunday evening I get a host of messages roaring about how liverpool suck, and united have won thhe league again. They just don't know when to shut up, because if united (unlikely) slip up and let us sneak in for the title, They will look like an even bigger bunch of cocks than normal.

I'm entertained by it all because I can take abuse, several tons of it, without getting my back up.
I've yet to meet a united fan that can.

:( :p :p

Degen finally returns from injury and turns out for the reserves.
scores 4 minutes in.
limps off injured before the first half ends.
Brilliant signing Rafa!

and on the continent, Voronin is scoring hat tricks whilst we were torresless. Fantastic decisions all round.

Stupid Degen, I play in a fantasy game where we all have squads to pick from and Degen is one of my 7 defenders.... and another's Behrami..... and I have two Newcastle defenders...... not to mention Drogba......

He couldn't get a contract in Austria!

Yeah well, I needed a new defender... it was between him and Shawcross by that time I think.... thought with Rafa's rotating he might get a chance....

And I am a United supporter who can take stick, unless it's about how we influence all the referees and they give us all the decisions, because I feel that's just not true, at least not to any bigger degree than say referees are influenced by the Kop.

I only caught the second half due to being out, and yeah they did... that tackle by Tevez was definitely a penalty, shocked it wasn't given... I just don't get it.... Why are we so frail defensively suddenly... and do we really not have a decent young defender left? Fergie should have seen on Sunday Neville is waaaaaaaaay short of match fitness/practice. Oh and Ronaldo is an amazing attacker and all... but I sooooo wish he would track back sometimes.... if Park had been on the right wing, no way Mariano would have been by himself.

I thought that tackle was outside the box. Definite foul but not a penalty.

Ronaldo's a dick, if he doesn't pick up his attitude we need to pack him off to Madrid. We don't need to be waiting on the moods of any player, even the best in the world.

I don't have that much a problem with his attitude, he seems to have a good rapport with the team and he does close down people if they are around him... problem is, he is never back so is never round to close down in and around the penalty area. I am kinda assuming here he was meant to be on the right wing after Tevez came on...

If Ronaldo had Tevez's work rate though..... OMG what a player :unworthy:

Not really, this season, though he's not normally as bad as yesterday, where six or seven times he gave the ball away and didn't move a step to get it back. He caused the first goal and it could have happened again on other occasions.

It does seem him giving away the ball has led to us conceding goals, 1 last night and 1 on Sat, but then again, he has scored 3 in the last 2 so he's still in the positives....

Slightly less critical of him last night as at first he was meant to be playing in a more advanced role I assume given Rooney was the lone striker. I still want him playing for United, unless we can get a bona fide World Class player to replace him, and by that I mean Messi or Kaka really. I mean, whatever the detractions in terms of his defending, he is still absolute class and without him we would be a poorer team. Against Villa, he may have been cack for most of the game, but he still ends up scoring 2 goals, the 2nd giving the chance for Macheda to become the hero.

Cor Chavski got bloody lucky today, Bolton had them on the ropes by the end. Good result for Liverpool but I think it's too late now. Im amazed Arsenal managed to win 4-1 after being dominated for the first 60mins, Wigan will feel robbed tonight.

But, the main story of the day, Barnet win 1-0 to secure League 2 safety and the super veteran Paul Furlong grabs his 200th league career goal, barely 6 foot in front of my face. :D I should be visible jumping up and down like a nutter on League Football Review or Goals on Sunday or whatever it's called, right behind the goal with a cup of tea in one hand. I queued 20 bloody minutes for that tea, no way was I putting it down!

Fluke, pure fluke.

Villa drew with Everton today, I think 4th place is almost cemented for Arsenal now.

Fabregas has 5 assists in 3 games since his return - that's an outrageous number. I reckon he's better at the killer pass than any other player in the world.

Nah, to be honest they were never going to. Their best (and luckiest) run for ages coincided with Arsenal's worst and loads of injuries, but like last year, the size of their squad was always going to tell, and I'm fairly sure Everton will finish above them now.

Exciting game, 4-4 Arsenal Liverpool.

Scoring 4 at Anfield is always nice, but how crap is that makeshift Arsenal defence. And we even had Sagna back today. I've also never seen any holding midfielder as completely innefectual as Denilson, the boy's a joke. He didnt cut out a single pass, or break up a single play, he's a clown.

Arshavin's played 8 league games and scored 6 goals.
Tevez has played 24 and scored 3. And he's got less assists.

Swap?

Seriously though, he's as good a player as there is in the league, total class.
