Not till you stop touching yourself.

I'd be curious to the logicisitcs of it though, especially since ICE doesn't have a US publisher.

Very unlikely at the moment, I imagine.

That's a damn good question. I dragged Reaper's Gale all over South and Southeast Asia with me and that really blew.

My friend dragged it backpacking in southeast China last year that blew even harder.

Since I had to take my lap top with me anyway for work, and am a penniless grad student, it would be real nice to not lug an enormous book with me in addition to the basic necessities of life.

I vote for EBOOK format. Though not that Kindle shit.

The books are out there in e-book format. They're just illegal.

If you're that eager, find a scanner and copy the pages of your book onto the computer. Then find some programme that transfers the text into a more managable format.

Also, make sure you don't send it to anyone else once you have done that:p

Or just leave the books with a friend, and call them every night to read you a few chapters before bed.

So if you own all the books, why would it be illegal to have an ebook copy to read on the go?

Same reason as if you photocopied it...

While I am sure that all these books are available for the kindle on amazon, is there any chance of distributing them on a STANZA supported network as well ? like fictionwise or booksonboard ?
that way we can read these using an iphone or ipod touch ?

Hello,

does anyone know, probably Mr. Erikson and/or Mr. Esslemont, if the Malazan books and related novels are all republished for Amazons Kindle or if there are any versions in a format compatible to the Kindle? Just to clarify: I don't mean any illegal copies. I like the work of the authors and I personally think that good work should be honored by the customers and therefore paid for.
At Amazon.com I could only find Reaper's Gale (which I have bought immediately).
I have most books already as a printed version and I don't mind paying for the eBook version again. The printed versions I have look already pretty worn, so it's nice to have them as eBooks for future reading and don't stress the paper books even more.

Thanks for any comments/ideas.

Sincerely,
Frank

I can only find one book of the series available on Kindle and I would love to read them all in this format. Is there any petition we need to sign to help get these onto Kindle or donate money or anything of that nature. The wife won't let me buy any more paper books since she just bought me a Kindle and I desperately want to finish the series

@jfdane - The only thing I can think of that might help is if you go on Amazon and click the "Tell publisher you want to read this on the kindle" button or whatever. If you found one book, I assume they are in the middle of publishing them all to the Kindle...

If enough people on the board are interested, we could all go and clicky on Amazon likewise
