They were lost in the Great Forumpocalypse first edition. :p

Pretty sure our then-site-owner pruned them in order to get the forum back up (along with many Inn threads) when we crashed due to running out of space.

Did we ever find a way to download more than a single page of a thread so we could archive the mafia games? I know the admins wanted to delete them to save on forum space but postponed it because there was no way to save them off-site. Anything ever happen with that?

Just so everyone knows, I can host a quick M&P game if we're ever stuck between games without another being ready or if there aren't enough heroes for one of the crazy games.

I don't really need a co-mod, especially for M&P. So yeah. Let me know.

Sounds good to me. Just make a general signup and the game designation will figure itself out.

Uhm, I thought we gave the forum a pass 'cuz we have more space now. But anyway, no, I haven't looked into it. There's *probably* a hook available that will allow us to do this, however. That's the most likely option. So if someone wants to browse the Invision Power Services site for hooks of this nature, I'm down with that. :D

after very careful consideration and with some pain in the heart, I've decided to abandon Spycraft.

It will be replaced with something just like it (aka surprising and tmdi skyhigh), with a 1001 nights theme (faux middle eastern fantasy so to speak) that will be easier to mod and has better consistency plus more development options.

oh, and the first game (name: the Nepeth Draught) is a 13 player mini. It is in the final stage of design, ready to be run instead of Spycraft 2.75.

for now, cancelled, although when/ if I get the inspiration, I may pick it up again.

the main issue is coming up with new but functional roles that fit the setting and allow an equal chance to win, while still maintaining the mafia spirit. I'm also not too convinced by the Syndicate's scum role in the game... Spycraft is inherently balanced in town's favor due to abilities and numbers, but fixing that would break the "Spycraft" formula.

The new series allow me a chance to adress these issues as well as adding a trade mechanic and a storyline that's planned from the start.

Sengoku Chapter II is in the works - I've sent off my ideas to PeanutButta for analysis.

It will be a Merc game, higher TMDI than the first one and will require a lot of players (20 or so)* - so I think it's fair to say it couldn't take place until after the holidays.

Ideally 20 players are needed, although a smaller number would be ok. Who knows, can we get those numbers anytimes soon?

Can't remember if we actually ran the DA game - think I swapped it for the Silence of the Lambs game.

But you can remove that and replace it with a mini/small full game with a Zombies theme and some mechanics which are unusual. But the game will be straightforward enough to be low TMDI, probably TMDI 4.

I think I asked for my zombie vs vampire vs werewolf game to be put back on the list too. I'm still struggling with the mechanics (it's been what, two years now?) but I will get it done by whenever it hits the top of the list.

I've been tossing some ideas around with Vengy about a game. I'm still working out some kinks with the mechanics and I need a good story to put with it once I get those worked out but Vengy seems to think it has some potential. To run it the way I hope to I think I'll need 16ish players. I'm probably biting off more than I can chew as I haven't even modded a M&P but there are a few sayings I could quote right about now. Sink or swim is one of them but I like No Guts No Glory better.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.
