Icarium thought Traveller would beat him.....so, maybe.....

Wait, when did he do that? Has Icarium ever seen Traveller?

@Smeg - great idea about Calm! It was about time she shows up again and this seems the perfect place to do so.

Have to agree with the comments about Challice and Gorlas - wtf...
Still, can't wait for the Rake parts, those seem truly great :)

As for Pust, he travels by warren or is "travelled" this way, so it's not a surprise really.
Personally, I'd love to have the least of Darujhistan stuff but it seems the other way around..

And I still dont get it why would Kruppe's POV be such a weird thing? In GotM there were at least two chapters from his POV, not like it's something new..

No spoilers, so my lips are sealed. . . :)

And Pust was aboard Spite's ship, folks, which is how he and his beloved wife end up in Darujhistan.

Can you at least just say how Samar Dev is in this book? Pretty please?

Am I the only one NOT looking forward to Spite and Envy's final confrontation? I really like both characters and if one (or gods forbid both) of them die because of it I shall be very sad :)

I'm guessing Spite and Envy's fight will have to wait until they deal with whatever is happening in Daru, whoever stepped out of the Azath.

Damn it, Pat, couldn't you have spoilered that last post?
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Major plotlines, like a slightly more detailed blurb, they're fine. The little facts, like that, I'd much rather have the choice of finding it out.

It's the little things that I like.

Like having someone spoil the cameo's in Iron Man and Hulk, you keep wondering when they show up.

It's why Kevin Spacey had no opening credit in se7en.

How in the heck has Iskaral Pust ended up in Darujhistan? Not that I'm complaining, SE well knows that's what MBotF fans have been looking forward to almost more than anything else - a battle of wits between Kruppe and Pust.

He was on Spite's boat, I suppose he just didn't get off until Darujhistan like the others. I suppose that implies we'll probably see some of Mogora in Darujhistan too.

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

I hope Mogora is in the book--I want to see how the spider theme develops.
