Wouldn't it be something if you won one of the signed copies!?! Of course, people would complain that the giveaway was rigged. . . :p

I'll probably draw the names of the winners tonight or tomorrow, so stay tuned, all of you. :)

RG I found in a bookstore after it shipped from Amazon. Bought it faster than you can say Anomandaris Purake and next day had two. Well worth it of course.

That sounds early, IMO. SE's books generally make paperback about a year after the original release, unless my memory fails me.

The trade paperback of TtH comes out this fall.

The mass market paperback will come out next summer. . .

I'm wondering what the chances are of getting it before amazon says i will. I ordered from the UK, release date is listed as July 1, I'm supposed to get it on the 8th-14th. I hope they get it in the mail quick-quick so it gets here before all the discussion is over.

Ordered it at Stirling bookshop in Brussels, got it today! :)
Some sort of soft release of paperback only, but I'm not complaining.
I only paid around 20 euro so the price wasn't bad either.

Stopped studying for my exams and already at page 157, still not caring about failing because the book is hilarious, love the old caracters.

Just realised I'have to stay of the forum in case I got the overwhelming urge to answer theories and questions.

Those who haven't already preordered might want to order it here http://www.sterlingbooks.be/

I was just browsing through a couple of sites of bookshops where i could order it and I saw that they had it in stock. I sent a e-mail to ask how long till delivery and they said that thy could send it that day or I could pick it up. So it forgot everything, raced through red lights in the center of Brussels and picked it up immediately and got reading.

It's a really good book. the slowness that pat was talking about is because there is no real dire danger looming up till now, but that doesn't mean that what happens isn't funny or interesting or entertaining.

I'm a relatively new member so could someone tell me how to cover up spoilers?
The above isn't really one: I don't say what's happening.

you type (SPOILER) at the beginning of what you are saying if it is a spoiler, minus the parantheses and replace them with a bracket []Then you type your text. Then at the end you put (/SPOILER) with brackets, not prantheses again :)

Damnit.....I need this book....stupid America.

I was going to try to distract myself to wait for the US paperback only because I don't want a ten ton hardcover, but the US cover is so shmaltzy. So I am going with the UK version because the cover is so much cooler.

But when oh when...
