America's problem with football is the leaue setup you guys have got set up. Season is very short, and as a result the games are far too close together, no time for players to rest enough or train enough, and the quality suffers significantly as a result.
And I was also joking;) 8.45pm for the majority of europe, and it makes sense - plenty of people home from work to watch it, and you can stuff the fans in the bars and pubs all day before the match, get as much money out of the event as possible. Morning/lunchtime matches earn a lot less overall than evening ones.
