Oh man I didn't even know that was a link before I clicked reply.

Anyway, McCain cannot even keep his one-a-day, 5 days a week campaign schedule, how is he going to be the president 24/7?

McCain picked Palin as VP, that alone should show you this is a joke of a campaign.

She has no idea what her running mate even stands for (see Katie couric interview) and claims that Russia violates our airspace in ALASKA!?!?!?!?

Now even McCain supporters are coming out of the woodwork to discredit her....I love it.

Hmmmm, so 700 billion dollars isn't important enough to focus on alone. Another thing to ponder on. Me, personally think that something as huge as deciding whether or not to PRINT and GIVE AWAY that much money (the most in history) is worth saying, ok, lets Think about this. Lets use ALL of our brains instead of splitting it up one part 700 billion bucks( which could buy the entire country of Denmark 2 times with 70 billion dollars left over) and one part foreign policy and watching everything you say so no one gains a political edge. Either way, I think McCain caved and is going to debate, but I think its a bad idea. Like I said personal opinion, I think neither should hold the debate, becase one of thm is going to be President, and I would feel more comfortable with the next Pres. looking at who is working, and who is just showing up to get some press.

You did know that this has happened to Biden as well, he said that China could use CLEAN coal, but the US was going to be coal free. However, Obama supports the use of clean coal. And if you don't know about the parapalegic (paralyzed man) that Biden told to stand up, and then said Oh, God, Oh, no, Wll, They(meaning the audience) are standing up for you pal. Everybody Stand up for chuck! " What an idiot.HAHAHAHA

Do not insult Biden by comparing him to Palin. She's a joke, just like McCain.

I love you Bent, despite you being a nazi republican :D

Click the link!! I swear its funny.

Edit, love you too, but not a republican, just a conservative, christian values, don't like abortion, okay with gays, but believe it should be kept out of government say so, same with religion, Government and Church should be different, but I want a pres who believes God will destroy him for doing Evil things. No, I would say Liberitarian, more than Repub, but more Repub than Dem, because Dems may be economically stronger, but Morally they are weaker, and I can't allow my beliefs(however misguided some of you think they are) be set aside so that I can have more money or goods.

A president's religious views (or even lack thereof) should have nothing to do with his/her campaign.

I'm actually shocked the race is even close. McCain stopped being relevant for me when he didn't stand up to Bush 8 years ago. Or even 4 years ago.

Anyone watched the Palin interviews? It's strange to see a public figure crash and burn.

She's done what her (many) critics never could: prove that she's simply not capable.

Quick point - printing $700 billion dollars of fresh money is pretty much the most stupid thing they could in the circumstances. Then inflation would spiral out of control and the world's economy would crash. Governments have to be careful with how much money they print - it's a balancing act between not enough (chronic deflation ensues) and printing too much (inflation runs rampant). So no printing. The money will have to be raised from taxes income and the like.

Sir Thursday
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

This is just disrespectful. There's disagreeing politely with people, making fun of them and blatantly not even respecting them as human beings. The shirt is of the third category.

Got this from someone I know who lives politics: "Obama is up on Intrade 60-40. This is still slightly too much, but those numbers reflect how absurd this year is in US history. The crazy stuff McCain put on the media over the last month was successful enough that McCain probably would have been dead even with Obama, going into the VP debate, had the financial meltdown NOT occurred."

There's still a long way to go until November.

Yes, unfortunately. But Palin has definitely taken a toll on McCain's popularity, I think - and yes, the publicity stunt he tried to pull with the bailout bill most certainly backfired on him. Did he really think his fellow Senators would let him get away with it?

He lost nothing by it and could have tried a rumpled and late show at the debate and said that he was "working to save the country". It was a stunt, but I think it was a smart one.

Obama handled it pretty well though with his (my paraphrasing) "You need to do more than one thing at once to be President of the United States. And that's what I'm doing here."

Lost nothing? He took a huge hit in the polls the day of the debate (day after the stunt). Obama lost nothing.

I think it's funny that Tina Fey's impersonation of Palin came off as more intelligent and informed than Palin did in the actual interview. Aren't you supposed to look worse when people make fun of you. I want a t-shirt that says "I can see Russia from my House."

RLY, I think that was the point...

The person ridiculing her was more insightful and more knowledgable than the Republican VP hopeful.

I don't think that was the point. Fey was trying to look as dumb and clueless as possible, but she still seemed smarter than Palin when she was trying to look her smartest.

@Terez: I'll take no sass from you, woman.
