I'd like to see the two of them paint the same same subject to compare. Both are brilliant.

Brilliant and different, would be a neat idea. Maybe that will be the next contest. Every participant must paint the same scene/character etc....hmmm.....me thinks I like this....I'll stew on it for awhile.

Great idea. There might be some complaints about restricting artistic freedom, but it'll even the laying field. In the last contest, some pieces might have had an advantage or disadvantage based on how people felt about the subject matter, not artistic talent.

I second RLY's comment!
You've got a lot of talent Onrack...and a unique vision. Have you seen any of Merlkir's art on this site? If so, what do you think of him and his work?

This is genius.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Well, there we have it. No contest needed, I guess. I still want one though, just to be able to see what they come up with.

Is it legal to tat up your dog? I recently read about a woman who got arrested for dying her dog, so I doubt it. It would be funny though.

I think the dog would try to bite out his throat if attempted to tattoo it.

I've always pictured Karsa as less massive than that. That's actually how I pictured Bairoth Gild. Maybe it's because I imagine him riding Havok into battle and I get the horsewarrior image in my head as someone more like Michealangelo's David on Steroids. Great job though, I like your artwork.

I pictured Karsa to have a narrow, wild-looking kind of face. Squinty eyes. With messy hair, earrings... Hard to put it across in words.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Very awesome!
I pictured karsa a bit different too, maybe less wide. But very nice work.

Ah...the Duo of Mayhem.
I worship them. In much the same way that Cuttle does....
I cried for DAYS after reading Memories of Ice. And when I reread a year or so later...I cried again. And then I promptly rejoiced at the end of Reaper's Gale.
I invest a lot into these characters, and I want to print your picture and hang it on my wall...
